You can't say anything for the price, but if you have to clean it yourself because there's dirt everywhere, it's a shame. The duvet was also dirty, so before I could put it on I shook off everything I could.Of course it's great for children and since you're only in there to sleep and shower, it's ok.Another big point: it was extremely cold and the heaters weren't working yet. The blankets were very thin and we were constantly freezing. The water was also cold.

With 60 kids in a holiday camp (JFZ OASE Velten) in a youth holiday home.No luxury or pampering program booked, but lots of nature and country life, delicious food and care from the lovely house fairy, lots of games and fun, close to the Baltic Sea and the beach, close to the Hansapark, good sea air and lots of opportunities to exercise and the highlight is the Viking ship and large canoe tour the adjacent Süseler See.The kids were able to move around freely and experience a lot with each other, even if one or two of them complained about not having a single room, having to use shared showers (and no bathtub) or getting bread for dinner at regular times and having to clean up their own mess .We had fun and would love to come back to Tannenhöhe or visit another Alte Schule e.V. house and are already looking forward to our joint ship project next year.

House mother and everyday hero Anke leaves nothing to be desired and the Tannenhöhe team makes many experiences and activities possible, such as sailing Viking ships, campfires and much more.

A rustic, beautiful place to stay in the countryside right by the lake. The rustic huts have their magic and are very special despite their simple furnishings. The main house with washrooms and additional toilets can be reached quickly from the cabins. The dining room downstairs offers plenty of space and there are lots of games. The outdoor area is extensive and includes a fire pit, volleyball court, goal wall and ping pong table. The swimming area of Lake Süseler is within walking distance, as is the adjacent forest. We were able to spend 4 wonderful days here at the holiday camp for adults and I would love to come back.

The facility is getting old, but still has great charm, lots of leisure options and a great location. The on-site support is very friendly.

The facility dates back to the 1970s and unfortunately has not been renovated since then. Some of the doors and windows in the holiday cabins can no longer be locked; everything is dilapidated and outdated, not to mention the unpleasant smell. There are 3 communal showers each for boys and girls on the premises, which the teachers can/should also use. However, it is borderline difficult to shower with students in these showers as they are very (!) small and cramped. The huts are definitely not for allergy sufferers! The cobwebs and dust mice in the houses are certainly now under monument protection. So the spiders here weren't so amused by the fact that we wanted to live in "their" houses. In short: the houses are worn out. The laminate is peeling off the floor, chairs and tables have a pub feel and are also worn out. This no longer has anything to do with “functional and rustic”.Many students, including me, had significant health problems due to the cleaning situation. The bed linen that you can borrow is washed out and has holes in it. The water in the showers also changed between boiling hot and polar sea at will. The water sometimes got so hot that the students used it to cook their ready-made meals in the showers. The management of the home tries very hard, but is also a bit difficult, especially when it comes to ordering food on site. You should also be aware that there is nothing in Süsel! There is a bakery and that's it in this place. To be honest, I have to say that the facility should be demolished or completely renovated instead of renting it out for school trips. It is simply no longer up to date and is getting old.

The accommodation is a bit old-fashioned and needs to be renovated, but is fine for sleeping. Insects can also be expected in the forest in the house. If you have a problem with them, you shouldn't go into the forest. There are too many students per house, which can be annoying when some want to sleep earlier than others. There are sports facilities and outdoor chess, but the sports fields are in poor condition. The service is fine, the food was good and freshly prepared, special requests and intolerances were taken into account and the service staff was mostly friendly. The grill is too small for larger groups and unfortunately there is no transport service from the train station, so traveling by train is not recommended. There are also few footpaths there and you often have to walk on the country road, for example if you want to go to the beach. The fact that the main house is closed with showers and drinks at 10 p.m. is not acceptable given the sanitary facilities in the Finnhütten. And €7 for bed linen is really overpriced. The surrounding area is nice but there is no supermarket, which can be annoying for school classes (very practical for teachers). You really are in the country and should be aware of that when booking. The wakeboarding facility nearby is also recommended, as is the nearby lake.Overall, the facility has potential, the property is large and beautiful in itself, the main house with the canteen is also tidy, but the huts urgently need to be renovated and ideally separated off to give individual groups more peace and quiet.
