I'm happy. The rooms here are clean and modern. People look after you very kindly here, the service is great, even at breakfast! The pizza here is also very tasty! By the way, highly recommended for divers!

At the weekend we got a delicious 😋 pizza for a long time, which was once again very well done. Pizza is available here every 14 days. Of course, wear a mask when picking up and the operator has taken every precaution to maintain the distance. Give the pizza a try, it's really tasty, also because it's not "mass produced" like other pizzerias.

I´m a repeat customer of Carsten´s family-run Inn for many years. I typically travel yearly with a group of underwater SCUBA photographers because the surrounding ponds have some incredible fresh-water biodiversity. However, I think it´s important to mention that this area is historically significant because the Dora Mitttelbau Memorial site in nearby Nordhausen was a forced labor camp producing V2 rockets underground during WWII. It was liberated by the U.S. Army on April 11, 1945. Whether you come here to keep the memory of important historical events or you just want a quiet getaway in a unique and pretty part of Germany, I can definitely recommend staying at Hotel Zur Helme. Carsten and Danielle put a lot of hard work and heart into a hotel that offers fair prices. The small village of Sundhausen is friendly and a stay here is a genuine immersive cultural experience. Being here feels like staying with family.

Great accommodation. Room was clean and modern. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Very nice owner both on the phone and on site. You feel welcome here. However, it would be nice to have extra space to hang diving equipment. It has to be said that we were offered a room that had not yet been completely renovated.Price/performance ratio is unbeatable.
