This guesthouse was my stop during a Rennsteig hike. When I booked I was offered to pick me up directly from the Rennsteig (Ebertswiese). Great thing and worked great. The room was perfect and nothing was missing. Dinner was also served directly in the inn, friendly and fast service, delicious food at a fair price. Breakfast is included in the price and that was great. Nothing was missing and there was fresh coffee and scrambled eggs at the table for every guest. Great service. I felt very comfortable and was able to tackle the third stage of the day in a relaxed manner.Clear recommendation!! Everything was great 👍

Unfortunately I can't report anything about the rooms in the Höhnberg, we live in the immediate vicinity and only visit the restaurant often and you really have to say 5 out of 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 stars. The service is totally courteous, friendly and on the ball. The inn and the terrace are extremely clean and designed with flair, you feel very comfortable eating at home.The kitchen always gives 100 percent, no matter what we have eaten so far it has always been TOP and super tasty. Regional, please keep up the delicious food. 😋 PS I always really like the little pre-lettuce :)All in all, highly recommended.Greetings from Steinbach-HallenbergHäfner family
