It was really sensational. Unfortunately I didn't take photos of the food. Three kinds of game with cherry pepper sauce and croquettes. A side salad is also welcome, even if it costs extra, it's worth it. It's just not for the small wallet.

The inn also has a very nice beer garden. We were there with a hiking group. The food was very good and the service was courteous. It's worth a visit

Finally an inn with home-style cooking! Have visited several times and the dishes are good. However, I had the experience that I received a dish with completely burnt sauce, the rest of the dish was ok. This can easily happen with a home-made sauce and is not a problem! I had the meal a few weeks earlier and it was excellent. The defect was obvious as you could smell the burnt sauce all over the table. Nevertheless, I would have to pay for the dish in full; it was neither taken back nor was an alternative offered. Sorry, but that doesn't work at all. Therefore, with a heavy heart, a devaluation. But the crown may still have a chance once the disappointment (and the disgusting taste in the nose and mouth has passed).

Very nice restaurant in a very good location right at the entrance to Uttenhofen.The menu is very good, the food is simply great and plentiful. The service is friendly, attentive and quick. The inn offers a large and well-kept beer garden with self-service.

Regional cuisine, everything fresh. The onion roast is in a class of its own, the ox cheeks almost melt in your mouth. The service is friendly and competent. As a “repeat offender” we recommend making reservations, especially on weekends
