We were just there for coffee, so I can only speak of that.Ambience was nice and everything was clean. But: The portions of cake slices that were put out for presentation did not correspond to the slices of cake served. To be more precise: Not even half of what was presented at the checkout when ordering.Secondly: First the cake came, then 20 minutes later the coffee. My friends did the opposite, first the coffee then the cake. End of the song: Drinking cake and coffee together seems to be a challenge for the staff with an order of three people.Therefore unfortunately only 3 stars.

This restaurant is fully recommended. We were particularly impressed by the innovative concept: Instead of a classic menu with a starter, main course and dessert, there are only small dishes here, of which you order several - similar to Italian food culture or Spanish tapas. The dishes are prepared from regional ingredients, which underlines their freshness and quality. We were thrilled, not only by the outstanding taste, but also by the artful presentation of the dishes. The service and the ambience were also excellent and rounded off the entire experience perfectly.

When we arrived we received the warmest welcome ever. That alone blew us away. What energy! We immediately felt comfortable.We had one of the forest baskets for the night and were sent on our way to the forest with some provisions. About 10 minutes later we were there and were able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest in a comfortable bed. A little adventure in nature without sacrificing the comfort of a bed. Totally recommended and we will definitely come back. <3

A very nice event for somewhat adventurous nature lovers! The forest basket is located relatively far in the Saxony Forest, so you can really immerse yourself in the forest and its natural inhabitants. The sleeping basket is comfortable and well thought out, so that you can still see the forest even when the top is closed. The whole organization is very friendly, uncomplicated and professional at the same time. You will be “sent into the forest” from the forester’s lodge in Friedrichsruh with a good supply of utensils (such as a night device) and delicious provisions. If you still want a certain level of comfort, you can eat very well in the forester's house in the evening and also have breakfast there in the morning.

Great little adventure just outside Hamburg. Comfortable sleeping in the forest, picnic basket, night vision device and, if desired, a delicious breakfast included.

I stayed with my girlfriend there for a day and a night. it was a real "micro-adventure" where we could hear the animals during darkness outside of the cozy place.The hosts are really nice and prepared a tasty picnic-basket and then let us explore the forest. It is a great experience as one knows that a house and "civilisation" is not too far away, but at the same time one is able to fully dive into the adventourous feeling of an overnight-camping underneath clear sky in the middle of the wood.I recommend this place as a short trip with a friend or your partner. Nice present ! :)

We spent a night here in the forest basket in mid-September. It was very nice and not too cold. Idyllic little clearing with a fire basket. The owner and his colleagues are very accommodating.
