Large, externally renovated building directly on the Rennsteig. Unfortunately closed with beer garden, large parking lot and outdoor areas/stage.For outdoor events ----> What a shame

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to construction work. There was enough space for this in the large beer garden. The small offering at the grill hut was good. On stage a soloist played oldies with the electric guitar. But it's very good that you even danced to it. 👍All in all, a nice stopover on our 15km hike.

Great, large and functionally filled holiday apartment. Kitchen could be used well because everything was there. Bread delivery is offered at the Hotel Tanzbuche and delivered on time. Roll was very tasty.The large playground is exactly the same as in the pictures. We used it every day and the children were able to let off steam. However, from midday onwards the sun is on the playground, which is why you should remember to wear sun protection and drink. Due to the road closure, the Heuberghaus restaurant was also closed and used for renovation work. This made it very quiet, which was handy with two small children and the issue of sleep.The water is chlorinated, so water for drinking or brushing teeth should be considered.The yard and house were kept very clean. Parking lot was right in front of it.The only negative point: the closure of the house. The front door should be locked. The door could only be opened from the inside with the key. In terms of fire protection, this is an absolute catastrophe. If something does happen, you have to remember the key, otherwise you'll be locked in. I mentioned it to the staff.Conclusion: A quiet vacation with family. I can only recommend the holiday apartment. Food at the Hotel Tanzbuche was okay.

The inn is closed until August 10th, 2022 (probably don't need any money), but the grill hut was open and served very well.But the most important thing: The Polars played rocking live music and I would have even given up beer and bratwurst.

Not much can be said about the house, except that the opening times are completely unacceptable for hikers. It is closed more than it is open, during the week it seems to be closed at all.Despite the lack of staff, the owners have not yet noticed that this is scaring away hikers and other visitors. The Stöhr from Inselsberg is taking a better approach with self-service.

Located right on the street. This is convenient, but not exactly “romantic”. However, the few cars don't bother you at all at night. The beer garden was still closed and the background noise can change in summer. The room was functional and in perfect condition, but quite dark due to the small, deep windows. The large bathroom with the large window in the sloping roof shows how beautiful a bright room can be. Conclusion: Price/performance OK, if it's just about the overnight accommodation.

The Kreissparkasse Gotha conducted internal employee training in the Heuberghaus on November 22nd, 2023. The preparation and implementation were well supported. The hospitality and service on site were first class. We can only recommend the location.

We had booked 4 nights in the 75m2 holiday apartment.The Heuberghaus is quietly located directly on the Rennsteig at the top of the Heuberg pass. The holiday apartment is very clean and functionally furnished. A bread roll service is offered, and you can have dinner at the Hotel Tanzbuche for an additional charge. (approx. 10 minutes walk) The well-kept playground behind the house is recommended for children. Excursion destinations such as Erfurt, Eisenach and Gotha are between 30-45 minutes away by car.

The accommodation was clean and tidy. Unfortunately there was no service because Gasthaus Heuberghaus is closed. The drinking water was very high in chlorine. The pool at the Hotel Tanzbuche was nice and always empty.
