A “residence” is definitely something different. This is more of an average 3 star hotel. Staff very friendly, breakfast good. The room is functional, but nothing more. Cleanliness can still be worked on. The sauna must be booked in advance and is expensive.

Very quiet location. Nice service. Excellent breakfast. Unfortunately, the room on the upper floor was very warm in the summer when it was very hot. Anyone looking for peace and relaxation has come to the right place.

Very beautiful here. From a very warm welcome to the warm welcome of our two dogs, a very clean, large room, great food (dinner at the Parkhotel) to a great landscape with lots of excursion options, everything was perfect, we really enjoyed it.

A pleasant hotel at the foot of the Müritz National Park. The rooms are modernly furnished and clean. The location is quiet and only a few minutes walk to Müritz and the forest of the national park. The breakfast is also good and is rounded off by very friendly service. If you can't get away from the stressful everyday life here, you're doing something wrong. The “Auszeit” restaurant, which works together with the residence, also leaves nothing to be desired.

This is the second time we have spent a weekend in the residence on the east bank. The residence is beautifully and quietly located on the eastern bank of the Müritz near the entrance to the national park. The rooms are very clean, the staff is exceptionally friendly, there is a large playground right in front of the door and the restaurant opposite serves excellent local fish and game specialties. We would love to come back!

We booked at short notice and that wasn't a problem. Even when we checked in very late, we were still greeted warmly.The room was a good size and clean. The breakfast was also good.

We stayed here for 3 days. The stay was amazing! The hotel is near a lake and national park. The location is very ideal if you wanna watch the sunset by the lake or bike around the nature reserve. The breakfast buffet was amazing too, my favorite is the croissant. We will definitely come back again.

Great experiences and relaxation for young and old.Positive: Idyllic, natural area rich in water and forests with an excellent recreational effect. Extensive tourist offerings on site, especially in the area of nature conservation, local flora and fauna (e.g. sea eagles and ospreys). Location directly on the nature reserve with a wildlife park (carriage ride to observe wildlife possible). Great hiking and cycling trails. Friendly and courteous staff in the accommodation and the associated restaurant. Excellent cuisine in the restaurant with family-friendly offerings (e.g. half portions for children, homemade lemonade - very tasty). Ice cream parlor right next door. Müritz beach is also suitable for smaller children at the campsite a few hundred meters away. For us as Berliners, it was a very varied, relaxed, educational and relaxing holiday with our grandchildren.Negative: The rooms are functional for this price category, but a bit spartan. In the family suite we booked e.g. B. unupholstered chairs. Beds comfortable, but the double bed in the living room (where the parents sleep) is only 1.60 m wide and only accessible from one side. No indoor facilities for small children (no playroom for rainy days, no books, no games). Bicycle storage is available, but in addition to a cupboard full of junk, there is only a hand air pump for small valves. The breakfast in the house was sufficient, but not varied and unimaginative (baked rolls, salads from the discounter, no fish, although there is a great fish area). WiFi available, but very slow and you have to constantly log in. With a little more pep and new ideas you could do a lot more with this otherwise very nice holiday home.What else is important: No mobile network from multiple providers, although we did see some cell towers in the area (???). In many shops, restaurants, etc. you are greeted with the sign: No card payment possible (so always have enough cash with you!) - a shame, as otherwise the tourist infrastructure is great (e.g. free use of the bus around the Müritz with the tourist tax Covered bicycle trailer on the bus (carriage of bicycles is subject to a charge). And... you're on holiday in the country, including the fresh but rural air (cow stable and paddock nearby) - didn't bother us, but sensitive noses should know.

We say thank you for the wonderful weekend...it is beautiful here, so you first have to come to terms with the peace in your ears...just a great place to relax, ride a bike...and much more.. ..the breakfast was also great and first of all the restaurant.....hmmmmm, simply delicious, it's easy to see....we'll be happy to come back.....

After 2 weeks I still don't really know how to rate this hotel!Everything is okay...BUT...We had booked half board, but then realized that it was completely unsuitable for a child as you could only choose between a fish or meat dish every evening. Starter and aftertaste were given. And it feels like you wait forever for food!After 3 days we canceled half board, only had breakfast and, with the exception of one evening, ordered what we wanted to eat in the hotel restaurant. It was also much faster!Unfortunately, when we checked out we discovered that we had been charged half board at 80% for the canceled days, even though the hotel did not incur any costs. Plus the food you ordered!In my opinion it's an impudence and according to the lawyer it's not permissible.It's damn annoying when you want to relax and then have such trouble afterwards.Furthermore it should be said:It is very remote, internet and telephone reception are virtually non-existent, the WiFi is a disaster and completely incorrectly programmed.So if you need some peace and quiet - perfect. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for families.Staff is nice, hotel is clean, breakfast is great, dinner from the menu is okay.

Very nicely located hotel.Cleanliness and service are exemplary.Nice breakfast buffet and what a treat real filter coffee is ♥️The attached restaurant is really excellent, the pike perch with herb salad is excellent!Digital detox 🤣Almost no network and only poor WiFi is a pleasant change. Pure deceleration.The landscape contributes to the overall positive impression!I would love to come back!

One thing in advance! I was never a guest in the residence on the east bank, but I have a double room from April 21st to April 23rd. booked. Unfortunately, due to a sudden bereavement and an upcoming funeral, I had to cancel my stay. To my disappointment, in this situation I was unfortunately only offered the option of canceling with 80% retention or rebooking to a selected date in November with a rebooking fee (!) of +60.00 €. I realize that cancellations a week in advance are not nice and, above all, mean a possible loss of income, but we would have been paying guests in November. Due to the rebooking fee, which was too high in my opinion, we no longer enjoyed traveling and therefore accepted the cancellation.
