Yesterday for the first time in the post office for a family celebration including an overnight stay. Everyone was thrilled: the owner's sister took over the service for us with incredible warmth. Food was extremely good. Rooms very tastefully renovated. Breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. The place itself is an idyll. I'm very happy to have made a new discovery, we'll be spending the next long weekend here.

Nice beer garden, unfortunately very old-fashioned food: meat, meat and more meat. Vegetarian choice: fries. And the staff was quite stressed!

Went there spontaneously for dinner.Nice beer garden, you can order food and drinks at the counter inside. Food is then brought and drinks are taken straight to the table.You should be able to climb stairs well. The way to the inn to order goes up a steep stone staircase.Staff was extremely friendly when ordering.The waiter wasn't in a good mood.Nonetheless, the food was very good and we would definitely come back

Cycled in from the steep hill to find this place for a cool beer, coffee, and homemade plumb pie 🥧.
The cake is tondie for! A cyclists dream! Staff helpful and friendly. Beer great. I would not pass this watering hole up if you are cycling past. Loved it

We were here for dinner and sat in the beer garden in front of the inn. The beer garden is under old trees and you have a beautiful view of the monastery. The service is a mixture of self-service and service. You order everything inside the restaurant. You bring your drinks to the table yourself and the food is brought to you.The price/performance ratio is appropriate.The staff was very friendly throughout.

The happy coincidence!I don't believe in coincidences, we actually wanted to go out to eat in the neighboring town, but company holidays forced us to find a short-term alternative!Gasthof zur Post, much more than an alternative.Perfectly located, with plenty of parking nearby, we arrived famished.“Reserved?”, “No”, “Phew, we’re actually almost full, but let me take a look”!2 minutes later we had a table, 3 minutes later the menu cards, 5 minutes later our drinks and after less than 10 minutes we already had our salad!Wow! We couldn't stop raving about it, the main thing we heard from us was “Mmmm wow, that's delicious”.From the service, which really deserves the word service, to the speed (hardly any fast food shop is that fast) to the food - an absolute, blind recommendation!We'll be back very soon.Thank you for the great experience and the excellent food.
