We stayed here for one night on a cycling trip and were completely satisfied. The whole house looks a bit like a small museum, the rooms are beautifully and lavishly decorated. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Plus, the price is simply unbeatable!

Not everything was ok in my room, only one light out of three was on in the bathroom. The closet in the room didn't open, but was repaired immediately. The carpeting was pretty disgusting too. Kitschy furnishings that ran through the entire hotel. If you like...breakfast was fine. Parking situation a bit cramped.

It's a hotel for in between...not something to spend a vacation in Altenburg. The rooms are very spartan. Not a bit tastefully decorated, everything that was available was set up. The sheet had holes, mini bottle of shower gel (1x), enough for half a shower. The TV + program selection is too small and snagged. The trash can was emptied once a week. I had a room facing the inner courtyard. Extremely loud in the evening from people living in the neighborhood. Despite the heat, you had to close the window because otherwise you couldn't sleep. The bed was very uncomfortable and sagging, you could feel every strut. The breakfast is just as spartan as the room - very little choice, coffee doesn't taste good - it can be found pre-made at the table. Parking is in a side street - very narrow, and costs another whopping 5 euros per day. The best thing of all, and I mean it, is the dinner, absolutely top every day of the week. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. That's ultimately why the two stars and no return!

Room 109 is very small. No air conditioning no fridge. Due to the 2 streets on 2 sides of the hotel, sleeping with the windows open is hardly possible due to the noise. Unfortunately, my room wasn't particularly clean, so I still found my predecessor's hair in the bed. The zippers on the bedding were torn so the bedding could not be closed. This didn't change even after room service. I see clear potential for improvement here.

A good and inexpensive hotel with nice and courteous staff. Rooms and bathrooms are sufficient, the only drawback is the lack of air conditioning. A fan was provided for this.The breakfast is completely sufficient, unless you expect various types of cheese and sausage, which you probably don't have in quantity at home.In the evening you have the opportunity to have a delicious meal in the hotel's own beer garden.In 120 meters you will find yourself on the market square, where there are various shopping and dining options.All in all, for me there is a balance between price and performance.

The term “boutique hotel” makes you seem bigger than you are. There are already some larger-than-life Spiderman figures attached to the outside facade and a pharmacist-style sign with the name “Hose,” neither of which makes any sense. There is no concept visible in the hotel either. Kitsch as far as the eye can see. Cheap and inferior furniture, all of which is unfortunately getting old. The armchairs and chairs are worn out and the mattresses are far too soft and sagging. You should not only wash the covers, but also the blankets and pillows regularly. It smells unpleasant when you lie down in bed.Spiders and cobwebs can be found between the windows and the curtains. Unfortunately there is no proper basic cleanliness.The bathroom is very narrow and has little storage space. There are mold spots everywhere in the corners of the shower. The towels are ancient and already washed broken. The sink and shower tray are yellowed. The trigger no longer works because it is completely clogged with dust.The WiFi doesn't work in the hotel, which is very annoying.It is far too warm in the room and there is no AC or ventilation system. The street is constantly loud. But you can't close the windows either, otherwise you'll get heat stroke.You look in vain for an elevator, so you have to drag your luggage up the narrow stairs alone.The breakfast buffet is not even standard. I wasn't impressed by either the selection or the quality.All in all, I didn't feel well and couldn't recover. Definitely not recommended!

Very nice and individual hotel!Super friendly and courteous staff.😌The hotel is located in the city, so very central and good connections by public transport, on foot or by car.Breakfast for €8.00 is perfectly fine and there is more than enough choice!

Initially the contact was bumpy, but it was then resolved professionally and the price was adhered to despite an error on the part of the hotel/booking platform.I can't say anything about the hotel because unfortunately I wasn't able to arrive at short notice. But just because you stick to your word deserves a positive rating.
