Our stay at this hotel and restaurant was really great. The restaurant offers delicious Swabian cuisine and an excellent wine selection. The service was nice and attentive, and the beautiful location rounded it all off perfectly. No wonder this restaurant is so popular!We were also impressed by our room: it was pleasantly warm and offered a wonderful view of a large tree in front of the window in which the birds were chirping happily. The central location of the hotel made our stay even more pleasant. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE.... it will lead you down old centuries old streets that barely fit a normal car.No way to back- up‼️ We ended up scratching our car on the wall of a building. Thanks- Google🤬🤬🤬The hotel is small but connected to a Brauerei.Excellent Service, the MGR was a jolly fellow, who explained how to stote our bikes & Park our car.We appreciated this SO MUCH, that we stay for dinner...I will Post more to come!

I stopped here as part of a business trip.From the outside I found a well-kept half-timbered house that immediately made an idyllic impression on me with its seating under the large tree.My arrival was on a Wednesday, the hotel's closing day, but everything went smoothly. There is a note on the door saying that the key can be picked up from the Italian restaurant opposite if you give your name.The room (I received a double room for single use) and the bathroom were large and, above all, modern, well-kept and clean. The view from the outbuilding was rather modest due to the condition, but that doesn't play a role in my rating. You shouldn't expect miracles in densely built-up inner and old towns.From the hotel, the small, sweet streets in the city center, the market square, but also the castle and the courtyard garden are easily accessible on foot. Overall, I really liked Öhringen as a city.The breakfast in the morning was small but nice. There were delicious rolls from the bakery around the corner (no baked goods like in larger hotels). The sausage and cheese platter was lovingly prepared and sweet spreads, yoghurt and muesli were available. A highlight for me were the egg dishes (either scrambled eggs, fried eggs or boiled eggs), which the boss prepared freshly on request.I cannot and will not rate the restaurant because, as I said, I stayed here on the rest day. Overall, the accommodation would definitely be an option for me if I were traveling privately.

German cuisine with regional products that are very well prepared. The roast beef with spaetzle is very good and freshly prepared. The spaetzle is homemade and the salad with it is very good. There are also hotel rooms above the restaurant.

Went to an event in Öhringen and were looking for something to eat. The Crown immediately spoke to us from outside. Our decision was right. Friendly service, good selection of food. Our food was very tasty and the price/performance ratio was good for the large portions. Of course you noticed the price increases due to the VAT. All in all, highly recommended.

I went out to eat with my department and have rarely received such unfriendly service. It was even the boss. If I could, I would give zero stars for such an impudence.
