Went there yesterday because we went on a big bike ride...We were looking forward to a delicious waffle etc.Well, that was probably nothing...Although there was still a big sign in the driveway, but waffles are no longer available. And no food either...Because! Today is the last day! AhaOk then just have a hot drink, whatever.Noticed...you're sitting on totally worn out chairs and rusty tables.Inside, the furnishings are from the 90s.The milk cafe, extremely expensive and then there was a little more than half in the cup. Nothing works at all!!We got really great cake and a good milk café in the next big farm café.So the forest pavilion won't last long.Unfortunately, it's terribly bad.

A delicious restaurant. Not handicapped accessible. There are always stairs to get into the building.Schnitzel looked homemade and not ready-made from the frozen food chest.Chairs and tables were still very worn out. So here the paint was off.The waiter didn't come regularly and so we were left with an empty glass.100€ for four people is an announcement. Therefore only three stars.Food was very tasty.Salad dressing is unlikely to be homemade. On the tress there is a beautiful view of the sea. There are two swings. For children.

From the terrace, there is a very nice view of the sea.Protected from the ☀️ by 🌲.Simple but good food. The tables and chairs on the terrace are a little older but the condition is quite okay. I can't understand reviews of rusty tables, as all garden furniture rusts at some point. Besides, I don't crawl under the tables and look for errors😉.And it's not a 4 star hotel. The staff was friendly. But despite there being fewer customers, there was still a certain hectic pace that took away from the coziness of the restaurant.Otherwise absolutely everything was OK.

We were only there to eat. First of all, the food was very tasty and the location was also very nice. However, people sat on worn chairs and ate from rusty tables. Apparently the waiters had little training on this as they had napkins on the wrong side. This caused the fries to fly for a short time. At such a price range, you would expect a little better service and reasonable tables. In the end, our criticism was laughed at by the waiter and dismissed as unimportant.I would not recommend this restaurant.

We ended up here by chance while passing through, with a 4.2 rating it seemed like a good idea. The location is beautiful, but the building and chairs really need maintenance and replacement. As far as I'm concerned, this also applies to the staff, who were extremely unfriendly and slow. The food varied greatly in quality, some from the poorer jars from the supermarket, and some surprisingly tasty. All in all though, not worth the money. Not a second time here for us.

Unfortunately disappointing. Went there for ice cream. Vanilla was out and therefore 80% of the ice cream dishes were not possible, cake was purchased frozen. Bomb location, sad that this gold mine is not being used. Three years ago, when we were there, the store was running and it was rightly full. This time 3 tables were occupied, and rightly so.By the way, card payments were no longer possible either.

So I have to say,The view and the taste of the food were really impeccable. But it starts with the beef roulade. First of all, I don't understand why you have to pay full price for a not-so-full roulade. (got half the roulade)The spaetzle was about room temperature and the salad was a reasonably small portion. From a price-performance perspective, everything was relatively critical.Otherwise it was pretty cool on the Baltic Sea.We wouldn't come again now, but it was still an experience that you won't forget so quickly.

We sat at a comfortable distance from the other table... suddenly another table was squeezed between us and the other table, so that the backs of the chairs hit each other in the middle

We were only there to eat on the terrace with a view of the Baltic Sea. The service was friendly and tried to serve us quickly, but there was a lot going on. But I found the times completely acceptable. Special requests were taken into account. Food was good and tasty. Not directly accessible from the beach.

Holiday apartment above the Cafe' Waldpavillion! We have been coming to Katharinenhof to the forest pavilion on vacation for several years. The location is fantastic, the sea view with the sunrise and the peace and quiet are priceless. We deliberately forego the room cleaning service and do it ourselves, so I can't rate it.This year we are again on the sunny island of Fehmarn. After I criticized the storage space for bikes and their condition in my last review, this year I saw that the carport had been tidied up and can now be used for guests' bikes. 👍 tip topOptionally you can book breakfast in the aparthotel. This is about 500m away. Very tasty and varied, something for everyone.
