Very nice family mother and especially the son.Only for me personally, apart from a lot of mosquitoes in the room, unfortunately there were no mosquito screens and there were often wifi failures.Price performance is 40 euros per night, but due to the Wi-Fi failure and the mosquito infestation there, you could have made it 35. You should know that before you arrive.

We stayed in the Fuchs im Heuerhaus holiday apartment for 13 nights for the first time. We were given a very friendly welcome by the junior manager and were given a tour of the farm. The apartment was very nicely furnished and we didn't miss anything. Ms. Schulte was always very nice to us and was available for a little chat.The Schultenhof is an ideal holiday destination for families with children. You don't actually need to do anything else, the children have enough to do on the farm. Otherwise there is plenty in the area: various zoos, Dankern Castle, Bentheim Castle, etc.In short, it was a very nice holiday in Helte!

An idyllic farm with plenty of accommodation options. In addition to a larger house that is also suitable for larger families with a total of 3 separate apartments. 3 log cabins that offer sufficient comfort, parking spaces for campers and a habitable trailer. Prices are good and affordable for families. Child-friendly and relaxing. A large lake invites you to swim and swim. A pedal boat opens up all facets of holiday fun. A cowshed with beef cows, calves, rabbits and guinea pigs, horses and 2 donkeys. Kettcars and tricycles, trampolines indoors and outdoors make children's hearts beat faster. It is possible to wash and dry laundry for €3 (cost price). The apartments are well furnished and offer a lot of comfort. A landline phone that can be used free of charge for landline calls. WiFi hotspot that is not fast but is free. Satellite TV with enough channels and the possibility of driving a tractor with a child after instruction.The owners are very nice and happy to have a chat.The only thing that is really annoying are the mosquitoes. Professional fly/mosquito protection on all windows and doors would be desirable. Several guests experienced some allergic reactions. Additional seating or loungers would be advisable at the lake. A little weather protection to put the loungers under would help, then you would only have to carry the cushions there and no longer the entire lounger.The area is ideal for cycling and many other activities. There should be no boredom. Many options are listed as posters in the rooms and should offer something for everyone, whether the weather is good or bad.

This was our second time at Schulten-Hof for a few days. For us there is a wonderful and lovingly run farm where our children feel very comfortable and where both us parents and our children don't get bored... Whether in the stable, at the lake or on the playground - there is always something nice to do company.Both generations of the host family are super friendly and helpful.We are already looking forward to our next visit :-)

We are now at the Schulten-Hof for the 8th time and we don't know a better place to spend a relaxing family holiday.There is a wonderful atmosphere here, the farm and holiday homes are lovingly prepared and the Schulte family warmly welcomes every guest.Kettcar, trampoline and the hayloft invite you to play, rabbits and pigs want to be fed, a guided ride on the ponies, swimming in the lake, cycling in the surrounding area - everyone will find something to do here.We look forward to next time!

If the children are sad when they say goodbye because they *want to stay here*, I know it was a successful vacation. Our 5 days at the Schultenhof were wonderful. The holiday apartment is equipped with everything you could need. The Schulte family, whether 1st or 2nd generation, are extremely sweet and friendly.The children were allowed to help with feeding, were allowed to ride, were allowed to play and be children. The in-house lake was wonderful and could be reached in 2 minutes. Nice even in the cooler season. The surrounding area invites you to hike, walk and explore. Our dog was also warmly welcomed. All in all, we would like to thank you very much for this wonderful time.

Spontaneously stopped for one night in the motorhome. We received a very friendly welcome. We were able to marvel at the well-known Meppen Halloween House after just a 10-minute walk. We'll definitely come back.

Our vacation at the Schultenhof was very nice.Super friendly hosts and very clean!!We have been to a few farms but it has never been so clean and beautiful. It wasn't the last time there for us.A paradise for children and we parents also had relaxation.LG Family K.

The apartment was very large and everything you needed was there. We were welcomed very warmly and had a contact person at all times. The farm is easy to reach on foot and there is a lot for the children to discover. Animals (cows, horses, donkeys, bills and rabbits), trampoline, all kinds of vehicles (bobby car, scooter, tricycle, Kettcar,...) and there is a swimming lake. Nearby you can go on many excursions with the children or take beautiful walks through nature.

A nice parking space on the farm. With a playground, lots of vehicles for children, animals to pet and a small lake. Very nice operator, everything you need is there. We'd love to come back when we're in the area.

We've been coming to Schulten Hof for years - it's always nice as a couple but also as a generational household. Super loving hosts, great apartment that is well equipped and very, very clean. It's a dream for small children and city kids can also get up close and personal with animals and learn in a playful way. Simply recommended!
