We really enjoyed being there with the children last year. I wanted to book another short trip in a mobile home today. So I called and had a rude awakening. I've never experienced anything so unprofessional and unsympathetic in my life. When I asked about the price and etc. I was clearly told that 2 nights wasn't possible and when I asked how many nights I had to take I was not answered at all and simply hung up on me. Best customer service (not). Conclusion you can go there and ask if you don't have one!

The natural area when it rains isn't that great, it's endless mud for children, it's really nice there and the staff are really friendly

We had booked for a week, knowing we would only be able to stay for 5 days. When I asked over the phone (it was about a booking confirmation), I was first told on the phone what wasn't possible, that I would have to book via the booking system and that it only works for 7 days anyway. Once we had sorted that out, a nice woman on the phone was able to help me with my little question in just a few seconds. When we arrived, after 2 hours I wanted to leave again.Nobody can do anything about the flooded fields with many tractor furrows. It had rained quite a bit this week. However, I don't understand why they didn't bother to smooth it out with the existing fleet of vehicles and throw some bark mulch etc. on top so that you can run relatively dry. Doesn't matter. The fact that the only fresh water point on the natural meadow is in the middle of the mud and no effort has been made to put an exposed concrete slab there... A gift. Not vital, just would have been comfortable. The fact that there are no soap, towels or blowers in the toilet...It's ok at Wacken, but not ok at the family comfort campsite. The fact that 3 of 5 children's showers are not working and the 4th sprays in all directions... not ok either. The fact that 1 cubicle in the children's bathroom is closed by 2... not happy either. The fact that the bouncy castles are all completely standing up and obviously haven't been cleaned for years is also not okay. The fact that in the morning on the sandy beach, when I wanted to play in the sand with my daughter, there were 20 (! counted) dog poop on 5 square meters was also not ok.The two play towers (1 at the riding stables, 1 on the natural meadow) are so dirty that you wouldn't want to leave a child on them. One of the sinks is out of order...All in all, the entire company seems very loveless. I don't think it's a bad thing that things are old. However, why people have so little desire to keep their place in good condition is a mystery to me. Very unfortunate. The employees were very nice, the place has potential and the idea behind it is great. I would have gladly paid more money for that.Maybe this is a wake-up call for the operator to look at their place with their eyes open from the customer's perspective and ask themselves whether they would find this so good for themselves. I would like this for all children and also for the nice employees on site.In this sense.

Maybe it was “Comfort” a long time ago. If you choose your place according to the ADAC ranking and have requirements, you don't need to drive here. But if you appreciate a large, free children's program and can deal with the shortcomings, this is the right place for you.
