Hmm, the rooms had a few tenants, i.e. silverfish and mosquitoes. But that could also be due to the nearby lake. But something could have been done about the many cobwebs. Unfortunately, our rooms were on the 2nd floor and were difficult to reach for those of us with walking difficulties as there is no elevator.The hotel is also very old, so the electronics are not that great. The parking lot can only be reached with a flashlight; the existing lamps do not work. There was also often a flickering of light in the dining room until one side was no longer illuminated.The location is ideal for hikers.

We were warmly welcomed, and yes you can tell the lack of skilled workers in the hotel, but the breakfast was good, the onion meat was tasty and the view/location was beautiful.....We enjoyed staying here with our dog.

Actually a very nice hotel, but unfortunately very old.The rooms and the restaurant urgently need to be renovated.The carpet in the hallway was dirty and the cleanliness in the room leaves something to be desired.The breakfast was bland and very simple.It was also noticed negatively that other guests' room debits were incorrect. (Incorrect totals)The staff was rarely helpful and also unfriendly.I definitely recommend the location but unfortunately not the hotel at all. I wouldn't book the hotel again for one night. Price-performance does not match in any way.

The hotel is in need of renovation, the wallpaper is coming off the wall and the room was dirty. The service overall was very poor and unfriendly. I was not allowed to move into the room I had booked and had to take another room for an additional charge. The breakfast was unimaginative with little choice, not worth the price. No friendly reception. This hotel is not recommended.

We were on a short vacation and bike tour in Emsland. The accommodation is getting old. The service was friendly, the rooms so-so. Carpets dirty, wallpaper peeling off. The food, a slapped together mess that doesn't deserve the word food.Every chip shop is better. The slabs on the terrace are high and wobbly.Not this hotel again.

Dirty and disgusting. Moldy shower, wallpaper peeling off the wall, you can see the drinks from the last 5 years on the bedside table. Rooms super dark due to energy saving lamps. We then swapped rooms; there were holes in the bedding and dead and living spiders. Not recommendable. Disgusting, unprofessional and not worth any stars.

We had a wonderful family reunion there over the weekend. For the 2nd time. In 2025 we want to meet there on a larger scale. Great advice.I can only recommend it.

Very idyllic hotel. But that was the only positive thing. Untidy hotel, dirty carpets, cobwebs everywhere. The furniture is really old and totally worn out. We had booked half board. The food left something to be desired in terms of quality and ingenuity. We have often stayed in youth hostels and it was clean and the food was varied and also very pleasing to the eye. The cleaner simply came into the bathroom where my husband was to change towels. No knocking, no apologies. Then she locked us in. Definitely not recommended. During the five nights the room was cleaned once and once we had to get the towels we wanted ourselves.

The location is great, the view of the lake is great, but unfortunately the rooms are not exactly clean: spiders, dirty glasses in the bathroom that look like there were dentures in them, cable ties hold the hand showers in the shower... 2 stars for the service as the missing product was quickly replenished at breakfast. We had booked and confirmed 3 double rooms with single beds and 1 apartment. This then became 4 double rooms without an apology and simply waved them off without responding. The fitness room is a storage room. It's a shame, really a shame

An average 3 star hotel.Employees are friendly. The meals are ready meals from the metro.The rooms are okay, there are minor defects here and there, some mold in the bathroom...etc.In my opinion, not good, not bad just average.

We were a group with bicycles and were warmly welcomed. The bikes could be parked in the hotel. On the terrace you have a beautiful view over Lake Saller.The staff friendly, attentive and helpful.

The location of the hotel is great! Located directly on the lake, you have a beautiful view of the lake from the restaurant and the terrace in front of it. The staff is consistently very friendly and accommodating.The spacious room faced the back, so not towards the lake. However, there is a garden there and it was very quiet. There were two armchairs.We arrived with our bikes and were able to park them safely in the large fitness room.I would describe the breakfast as standard - almost everything is available and there is also a good selection for vegetarians.Unfortunately the hotel has a backlog of investments. You can see everywhere that it hasn't been renovated for a long time. The furniture is older, as is the carpet in the room and it had stains. The restaurant terrace, which is actually beautifully located and faces the lake, also deserves a renovation.
