Accommodation is very nice and clean, unfortunately a very (!) loud ventilation in the bathroom and a shower in which the water drains very poorly. Nice big playground and nice location of the farm.However, based on the website, which advertises 4 rides per week or 4 pony walks per week, we assumed that pony riding would then be possible without any problems. This was the main reason for our booking. But unfortunately for many children there are only three ponies. If you arrive at 4 p.m. or later, you are out of luck as the places are already occupied. Too bad. If pony riding isn't that important to you, you'll definitely find nice accommodation here. Departure sporty by 9 a.m.

There is heart and soul in this.Beautiful, very well maintained property. Fantastic playground for all ages! Nice activities to bring children and parents together (e.g. barbecue & stick bread evenings). Animals that are cared for and cared for with love, almost all of which were rescued and now have a good life here.Riding ponies, feeding goats and petting guinea pigs are twice as much fun.Condition of the holiday home: top.We felt very comfortable when we were with you this summer! Thank you for everything.

We were at the Katharinenhof for the third time in 2024 and will be back next year. Soooo beautiful! Our girls (6 and 10 years old) especially love feeding the animals and going on horseback rides, the playground and archery. Every year we meet lovely families again and get to know new ones.

This year we spent 14 days on our summer holiday here for the first time and have now booked again for next summer. We have two small children (2 & 4 years). Great facility, lots of space, well-maintained grounds, nice rooms, unfortunately the internet reception is very poor and the wooden stairs in the Fehmarnhaus creaked so loudly that everyone was awake again at night. And we would have liked a second high chair, but unfortunately there wasn't a 2.x for cost reasons. Animal welfare is very important. The riding tours are nice for small children. Unfortunately, not every child can ride every time, as places are limited and you have to be quick when you get on the list. Feeding the animals every day and visiting Bibi - a highlight for the kids for beautiful hair and tattoos! Close to the beach, quiet despite good transport connections. We look forward to our next visit.

We spent our summer vacation at Gut Katharinenhof this year and were completely satisfied.The house was great!The large playground and the Kettcars were an ideal activity for our two children, who enjoyed the time.The natural beach is within walking distance.We look forward to next year and would love to come back.

The farm is very well maintained and you can tell at every corner that the owners care that their holidaymakers feel comfortable.Our holiday home was very well furnished and extremely clean. The cupboards and drawers in the kitchen in particular left nothing to be desired in terms of cleanliness. We also had a great view over the fields from our terrace!The farm area is a dream for every child. There were many play options, including a large, great climbing frame, additional playgrounds for the smaller ones, swings, a soccer field, basketball hoops, two large trampolines, a Kettcar racing track with a huge fleet of vehicles and and and...We also really enjoyed spending time with the animals (goats, ponies, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits). A big highlight for our children was the regular joint care/feeding of the animals. Afterwards there was a fresh egg for each child. Really great! We also thought it was great that the owners took a lot of time for the children and explained to them how important it is to respect the animals and that they have to be treated well.After a walk of about 5-8 minutes you reach the great cliffs with a view of Denmark. On windy days we could even hear the waves in the yard. Pure vacation!We also found the bread roll service particularly practical. The nearest supermarket is about 10 minutes away by car.We can recommend the farm without reservation and are already planning our next vacation there!

We had a lovely time again. The holiday starts as soon as you arrive, because the children are running around in the playground and the accommodation is perfectly clean, so no cleaning of all the little things that are often not perfect in other accommodations.The program on the farm makes the children happy and leaves enough time for family activities - when the children can turn away from the playground and their new friends.

First of all: We came back from our vacation well rested 😁The apartment in the manor house was extremely clean and very well equipped - even coffee filters and dishwasher tablets were available - but we used our own.The location of the farm is also good - only 15 minutes drive to Burg and within walking distance to the natural beach.What initially annoyed us was that the feeding, etc. with the animals announced on the website only takes place Monday to Thursday - with the exception of public holidays. Unfavorable if you are there on a long weekend and have told the children in advance about the holiday on the farm... unfortunately the numerous vehicles couldn't quite make up for this. Unfortunately, we were only informed about this on site. Shortly before arrival, we only received the information folder link as a QR code by email - perhaps you should simply insert this link into the email as text so that you can easily open it on mobile devices 😅The farm is recommended as accommodation, but only to a limited extent as a holiday FARM 😉

A very family-friendly and well-kept farm directly on the Baltic Sea with great offers for children. Horse riding, archery, crafts, campfires, and much more.When dealing with animals, their well-being is our top priority.

This year we were guests at Gut Katharinenhof for the fourth time in a row and it is always incredibly beautiful there. A great farm for young and old in a top location on the east coast of Fehmarn.

Great yard. Mega facility for children up to the age of teenagers.. Farm program for kids... Svenja is a really great person, the children have taken her to their hearts. We laughed a lot with her. Nice owners, a great campfire with bread every week.. nice apartments. It was a very relaxing vacation..☀️

We spent 13 very relaxing days on the farm in June with our two boys (5 and 3 years old) and were very satisfied. We really liked our apartment (Store 3) and was well equipped. The same applies to the entire farm with a great playground, Kettcar track, play barns, small animals and of course the 4 ponies. The animal carer Svenja is great!The support from the hosts was also great (barbecue campfire!). In the end, the children didn't want to leave.

The holiday farm is very well maintained, the holiday apartments are modern and clean.The children have action all day feeding the animals, riding ponies or on the huge playground and as parents you can just relax.Particularly noteworthy is the loving and professional treatment of the farm's animals. Thanks to fixed feeding and riding times, the animals also have enough space to retreat and “free time” and are not just there to entertain the holiday guests.We had a wonderful time and look forward to next time.
