Really great inn, beautiful and extremely clean rooms, the food was excellent and really great service! We were there with our family because of the Altmühltrail and will be back next year! Great!

We had a very good meal at the Kirchenschmied and received extremely friendly service. The Schmankerschnitzel in particular is highly praised! The room we stayed in was also very nice and clean, and the breakfast was unbeatable. Overall, a very successful stay, many thanks to the host and his team!

We had dinner here twice. There were 4 meals that deserved more than 5 stars. Everything was very fresh and tasty and the service was very friendly and attentive.We will definitely come back here for dinner on our next vacation.

Had a lovely lunch in the quiet courtyard. Super friendly wait staff, also for our children who were given crayons to entertain themselves before the meal. If we are ever in Dollnstein again, we would love to come back!

We stayed at the Kirchenschmied for one night during a hike on the Altmühltal Panorama Trail and were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and functional. The dinner in the cozy, bright dining room, with soup and veal goulash, was very tasty and plentiful, it was very well cooked, just as it should be. At first we found it a bit strange that you could put your own breakfast together, but then we realized that this concept was exactly right. Everyone gets what they like individually. The scrambled eggs and fruit salad were great. The packed lunch was also just right for the rest of the hike. The service was very courteous and friendly. We can recommend the inn to anyone who doesn't mind the rural surroundings and would be happy to come back.

Very nice and quiet beer garden with a good selection of food. Very friendly and attentive service. Food with fresh ingredients and tastes perfect. Plenty of fresh salad with turkey strips. Zander fillet very tasty and with great side dishes such as rösti and fresh vegetables. This restaurant is absolutely recommended. Price-performance ratio is consistent here. Thank you for the good offer. We'd love to come back.

Food in the beer garden was good. Service OK. You sit in the backyard between the houses in the parking lot in a dingy atmosphere. Lots of flies.

Great food, both the service and the boss were super friendly and attentive as well as a very rich, delicious breakfast.I can recommend eating here to everyone, it is a kind of insider tip in the region and by far the best you can get.TOP! 👍👍👍

We had dinner there this afternoon.Very tasty food. 10/10 ⭐️We were there at peak times, so drinks and food were available quickly because it was so busy. There was only one waiter on the terrace and he handled it masterfully.Respect 👍
