My son was on a school trip in this youth hostel. He reported that the rooms were dirty and some things were broken. The food wasn't good and there was too little and the staff was unfriendly. He didn't feel comfortable there!!!

My son stayed at this youth hostel as part of a school trip. The staff was totally rude, not only to the children but also to the adults. The food was subpar. The rooms weren't really clean either.No recommendation!!!

A beautiful youth hostel for its setting. We went there twice. There are single rooms in the new building which I found much more comfortable than in the central building where there were 8 or 10 of us in the rooms.

We were at the youth hostel for a large party. The hosts had booked the entire DJH. I haven't been to a youth hostel since I was a child and I was very pleasantly surprised. The functional, well-furnished rooms all had their own bathroom.The staff are very friendly and helpful.The dinners were booked separately and modified.Both the pizza and the salads with the grilled food were varied, very tasty and were refilled several times.The breakfast was very varied and good, and could keep up with some hotels. We particularly liked the large outdoor area and the separate large playroom for the children.The house is located directly by the forest. A hike to Uelfebad and the surrounding area is recommended.

Dear Sir or Madam, when we visited this youth hostel with our classmate we encountered some negative aspects. The employees were quite stubborn and demotivated and the rooms only had 2 sockets for a 12-person room. Bringing your own food and drinks is prohibited in this atmosphere. If you violate this rule, you could even face a fine from the owner of the house. Generally not recommended.Kind regards.

We visited the youth hostel as part of a children's camp and were always treated very courteously and warmly by the friendly staff, and there were even one or two extra things.The rooms in the new building are large and have their own bathrooms. However, the mattresses are quite uncomfortable for adults.The rooms were tidy and there was a cleaning on the 3rd day.The surroundings and the town are great and most of it is within walking distance, even with children.Breakfast and dinner were buffet style, there was always enough and more was added if something was already sold out. We adults would have been happy with a toaster, but children were fine with the untoasted white toast. At lunchtime there was a warm meal with dessert. Both were mostly delicious. The vegetable side dish mostly consisted of imperial vegetables, which didn't go down well with children. We enjoyed the meat dishes.All in all it was a very nice 5 night stay.Thank you very much, dear Jugendherberge team!

Let's start... the room was NOT clean at all, there were spider webs hanging under the bed and a lot of dust on the floor, NO hygiene at all. I didn't think the food was that great either. I liked that there were at least vegetables. Our class ate vegetarian because we didn't eat any pork or anything like that in the building Now not so much was good but still and the waitress or worker at the food wasn't friendly at all

Not exactly recommended!!When I arrived at this youth hostel I first had to wait until I was allowed into the room. This waiting time alone made a bad impression. Then there was the fact that there was an empty deposit bottle under the bed and there were used glow sticks in the closet. The bathroom and the room stank terribly when we arrived and we didn't have soap in the room either. We had to buy the soap ourselves from the town nearby and to suppress the smell we had to use room spray. Attached is the list of drinks you HAVE TO PAY for if you don't want to drink tap water. In the room I was staying in, the water from the tap didn't taste exactly clean. Rather dirty and calcified. Below is also the fee for food you bring with you. It's bottomless. But there are also positive things. The staff (even if you rarely meet them) are very nice and the food was quite good except for the first day. In general, the youth hostel is not recommended if you have a small budget. For the price it's really not worth it.

The facilities are standard for a youth hostel. The slatted frames were a little worn. The showers are modern and clean. Unfortunately, the reception left a lot to be desired, as you first had to look for where to go on the large railing. There was no explanation of where anything was, so you were on your own.

NOT RECOMMENDED!!!♣️short and sweet: the workers are nice (except the boss) the food is not appetizing. The rooms are dirty and broken (at least in the old building). The forest next door is perfect for hiking. If you just want to get away from everyone, that's good♣️Last year I stayed in the youth hostel with my class for 4 days. The Rooms: My first impression of the rooms was good, but when I looked at the beds being sewn I noticed what appeared to be Dorito chips and dirt in the pillows. The smell confirmed it for me. When I wanted to look at the table with my friends, part of the heater fell down. But that wasn't the worst part because when my other friends opened the window in their room, it fell on the leg, causing a bruise. (The toilet in her room also broke) In addition, the two showers were broken (or the partitions) Service: The employees were very nice and friendly, but the boss (I'm not sure about that) gave us a break on the 2nd. moped day. We went to Netto with our lessons, but when we returned she claimed that everyone in our class had to pay €5 because "you don't take food with you to a restaurant either, and that would be the same thing." (We didn't have to pay) In addition, the boss let her children run around freely in the youth hostel and we then had to look after them. (One of my classmates was beaten by one of the two sons)

Not recommended as a larger group.Food was reasonably good for the price.Staff is nice.We were 46 people in full board for 3 days.The group room is quite narrow and extremely loud due to the wooden floor.Another room with carpet costs an additional 50€/day.Own drinks (coffee or tea) are penalized with 15€/day/person.At mealtimes there is only a limited selection of drinks and you have to constantly ask for refills.Since you are not allowed to use your own drinks, you have to buy drinks during the day and evening.Small pot of coffee for €9Box of water 15€Fire bowl also costs extraEtcEvening communities without snacks are simply pointless.

First we would have to wait 3 hours until the room was clean. Then we went to the room and it smelled and a dead bug in the bed was absolutely not recommended. Then we went to eat. The food tasted disgusting. There wasn't a star that could make a wish and it's really scary in the evenings.👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
