We had a very good meal here today. The Schäufele was incredibly tasty. The guest room is cozy, bright and well-kept. The landlord is extremely friendly, responds to special requests, is also open to children's wishes and cooks himself. Good home-style, fresh food, very, very tasty. Highly recommended. We would be happy to come back when we are back at Brombachsee. It's a shame that we don't have such a cozy restaurant in Hesse.

On my motorcycle tour I came to the small Brombachsee and found this pretty restaurant. The friendly waitress came straight away to take the order and the cordon bleue was tasty. At the next table they ate Franconian carp, I will definitely order in advance on my next trip home and come here! I can only recommend it!

We were there on September 13th. Eating there with the family and dog. Very accommodating and relaxed atmosphere. I ate a platter for two there. There was a lot of fun about it. To my shame it was too much but super tasty. Super friendly service and the chef was just great. One who really understands and loves his craft. Nice conversation at the end. Will 100% come back.

The owner was extremely friendly and attentive. He could use more help with room service. Otherwise we felt comfortable and the food was great. The breakfast was okay. Price-performance ratio is right.

King of the crocodileWhen we were left without accommodation, he was our savior in need and took us in.The furnishings and design resemble an oasis of calm and the fact that everything was built in-house was really great. The staff there is very hospitable and we were warmly welcomed into the Krokodil family.The food and drinks were very tasty and perfectly served.

Perfect for a relaxing holiday. We received a very warm welcome, the service and kitchen performance were top notch. The boss still cooks himself and attaches great importance to the well-being of his guests. He also takes time for this himself.I think arriving and feeling at home is the best way to do it.Great location for day trips to BrombachseeWe would love to come back

We have been coming here every summer for many years and since then the crocodile has become bigger and more beautiful, several areas, everything has been covered and lovingly expanded. The atmosphere still remains rural, familiar and the quality of the food is impeccable. Even though yesterday was very busy, we didn't have to wait too long for our food. You can tell that the chef still works in the kitchen with passion and commitment. He not only cooks with passion, but is also a very likeable, open and warm person, as we found out yesterday. The service was friendly and, despite the stress, was able to create a feel-good atmosphere for the guest with relaxed sayings and politeness. As always, a successful evening and we look forward to the next time.

We are in the restaurant for the fourth year in a row because we go on vacation to the small Brombachsee once a year. The garden restaurant is expanded every year (probably through our own efforts). The food changes and is really good and really sufficient. The boss still makes beer himself and hats off to him in the kitchen alone. The waitresses are really very nice and try to make changes to the menu possible. The boss personally goes out of his way to make time for the guests. All in all, very good and plentiful German cuisine.

The room has a TV and the mattresses and pillows were good. There was no soap in the bathroom and it was very dark. The hairdryer was broken. The furnishings are not very tasteful and the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There were lots of moths in the room and dead insects in the lamp bowls. Unfortunately, there was a strong smell of smoke and the order in the inn/restaurant was just sufficient. So we went to eat at the neighboring restaurant.The price for an overnight stay for two people with breakfast of 85 euros was correspondingly too high.We won't be coming back.

We were there with our 2 furry friends. Super friendly service, very tasty food. Our dogs each got a bone. We were absolutely thrilled by so much friendly and ambience. Top prices round it all off.
