A beautiful and lovingly restored building with very nice owners. You can also have delicious food in the restaurant and sit on the terrace in the summer. The only negative point: it is on a very noisy street. But I'd love to come back!

We booked a double room for two days over the weekend to visit family in Wuppertal-Ronsdorf and to visit friends in Solingen. The hotel was perfectly in the middle for this. The pictures on the website also convinced us about the facility, so we completed the booking online.What should we say? Our expectations were more than fulfilled. The hotel is absolutely top. An old Bergisch house has been renovated and furnished here with great attention to detail. The rooms are very spacious and very clean and the beds are very comfortable. We immediately felt at home and were happy about the beautiful, modern furnishings that fit the house. We can recommend this hotel without reservation and would come back at any time.

Great hotel. Unfortunately, the digital key in the app did not work immediately after check-in. But the emergency assistance at 11 p.m. at night worked very well. A sign of excellent service.

The hotel is in a very well-maintained condition and reminds us a little bit of the past. Here the past and modern times are harmoniously brought together.Breakfast is booked separately and must be booked in advance. Don't forget! Otherwise, the rooms have air conditioning, WiFi, a refrigerator, a very large bathroom with a very spacious shower and a bathtub.The hotel is definitely recommended.

Be sure to book an apartment in the guest house! The apartments are sensational - very spacious (e.g. 96m²), beautifully furnished and perfectly equipped.Rewe (with fresh food counter) and bakery are only 100m away.Digital check-in and door opening via mobile phone app are easy for “digital natives”; but a bit tricky for the analogue generation. But works reliably.In any case, one of the best accommodations you can get in Remscheid.The hotel rooms are a little more difficult because the restaurant is leased and only opens in the late afternoon. The apartments with “do-it-yourself breakfast” are much more pleasant.

Can only be used via cell phone, but slightly unprofessional. When you come in there are people walking around who don't even greet you or speak to you. Great ambience, great rooms, rest to forget, hence the prices are far too high for a slot hotel.

Great hotel!Super nice and cozy rooms! The bathrooms are amazing! The staff very friendly and accommodating! The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and in summer we had breakfast comfortably in the beautiful winter garden!

Great house with a cool ambience, just something different, come in, switch off, feel good. Lots of extras...great hiking trails nearby. Parking spaces directly in front of the house! We were here over the WE to go hiking... ideal place for that. I haven't slept so comfortably in a long time...breakfast was great. We'll definitely come back!!!

Rarely have I seen such a lovingly designed hotel!!! The rooms and bathrooms are very tastefully decorated and very spacious. An oasis of well-being throughout the house!! Online booking and check-in worked great!! A sensational stay in this truly uniquely restored hotel, which you wouldn't expect in the area!!!!

I had previously been a regular customer at the Villa Paulus, as the hotel in the beautiful, listed villa was previously called in 1782. And as usual, I enjoyed our stay. The large, stylishly furnished room with a spacious bathroom and rainforest shower, the whole historical ambience, this hotel is simply unique, something you wouldn't expect in Remscheid.
