First of all: We had a wonderful stay as part of our honeymoon.The hotel appears to have recently been completely renovated and is in a modern and, at the same time, regionally typical condition. You can tell on every corner that I am in Bavaria. The complex is extremely quiet, close to a golf course and the surrounding area shows off Bavaria's most beautiful side.The rooms are spacious, modern and very clean. The balcony had a view of the Wilder Kaiser.The staff listened to our every wish and was genuinely friendly, warm and accommodating. Small touches (champagne in the room after returning to the hotel on the first day, the table specially set because of the honeymoon, farewell gifts) were the order of the day.The restaurant left nothing to be desired and was of a high standard.There were plenty of secure parking options.One thing is certain, we will be back!

beautiful building, everything sparkling clean, very attentive, nice staff. However, we weren't hotel guests, just restaurant visitors. I would like to say a few words about the restaurant: large, loosely furnished, cozy. terrace with beautiful mountain views. The number of dishes on offer is very balanced, there is something for everyone. Being a glutton, I ordered an additional dumpling - and was full. We had four different dishes, each of them really delicious! Buttery tender meat that melts in your mouth and wonderfully freshly prepared side dishes. the kitchen crew can do magic. we are firmly convinced of this. As a commuter between Franconia and Upper Bavaria who lives here and there, we often go to restaurants. In the future only in the Birkenhof. are you a gourmand? or gourmet? or someone who just wants to eat very well? Then let's go to the Birkenhof...
