Very nice, well-kept apartment right on Lake Baldeney!A few days ago we hosted friends there. The accommodation is stylishly and originally furnished. The hosts were very helpful and always personally available. Our friends were absolutely satisfied.

The welcome from the lovely family is very warm and there is enough space to park your car. The B&B is located in a very quiet residential area. There is a bedroom and a separate shower and toilet and plenty of space. There is a shutter in front of the window that ensures a darkened room. This allowed me to sleep wonderfully and for a long time. There is no kettle or coffee maker in the room, I give that as a tip to the managers. I brought a thermos with me and they are happy to fill it with hot water and you can get a tea bag. It is worth walking to the lake (10 min. walk, 4 min. car), the Baldenyesee, and having a delicious cup of coffee or an extensive breakfast or lunch at Extrablatt. You can enjoy walking along the lake and canoeing and sailing on the lake. There is a cycle route around the lake.I was here on business and I am very happy that I did not spend the night in a hotel in the center or at the Messe Essen, but drove 10 minutes further to this nice and wonderful B&B.

I was looking for accommodation with a good connection to the exhibition center in Essen that was also attractively priced and luckily I found this ground floor apartment. It is very quiet, so you won't be woken up by street or other noise. Everything is available except for a kitchen, including a very large rain shower. For me, a kitchen wasn't relevant because you can quickly reach a lot of restaurants and cafés/bakeries in the nearby area. The family really cares about making you feel comfortable, which I found really pleasant. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the exhibition center by bus. If I were to stay in Essen again, I would like to come back.

Hello, we stayed at bnbbird for 4 nights and received a very warm welcome. During our stay, we were fortunate to ask if we needed anything else. The apartment is very nicely furnished and clean. It is centrally located in the beautiful, green south of Essen. We'll be back.

I stayed in the holiday apartment for 2 nights on the occasion of a family reunion with children. We were warmly welcomed with a sweet surprise for the children. The apartment is very well maintained, lovingly furnished and clean, everything was great. Gladly again!

We were cycling on the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path for several days and were looking for somewhere to stay overnight near Lake Baldeney for one stage.The couple is friendly and helpful, and we were even allowed to store our bikes in the garage. The apartment was very clean and stylishly furnished. It still smelled “new”.Here you have very good accommodation if you are looking for an alternative to the hotel.We can also recommend breakfast in the café, which is within walking distance.5 stars from us and gladly again.

The central location to Lake Baldeney allowed us to find exceptional accommodation here. We were able to safely store our e-bikes in the garage of the nice landlords. We recommend.

We took the MTB to the Ruhrpott Cross and spent a night at Bnbbird.The accommodation is very centrally located on Lake Baldeney, and there are plenty of coffees within easy reach.The hosts are very friendly, the accommodation was very clean and the bikes were safely stored in the garage.The accommodation can be recommended, thank you again.
