Deichhaus "Boddenzauber"

This house offers a very good ambience, you have a very good view of the Breeger Bodden and you can get anywhere very quickly. It takes about a minute to walk to the Baltic Sea, larger shops are 5 minutes away by car and there are also small shops that can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. The nearest tourist spots and important places can be reached in a few minutes by car.There is a restaurant right opposite with a very good selection.The house itself is large and very cozy. It can accommodate 6 adults: a double room on the south side with its own balcony, a twin room on the north side and a double room in the attic.It is adequately furnished and provides dishes, but you have to constantly do the washing up if you are self-catering (unfortunately pot holders are not provided) as there is not very much. There is a fridge with freezer compartment, an oven (with trays), a microwave, a dishwasher (without tabs!), a toaster and a coffee machine.The utensils (pots, ladles, etc.) were functional, but extremely poor. Larger meals are difficult to prepare because the pots are sometimes too small and the ladles bend.The bathrooms are nice, but the upstairs bathroom stank when we moved in and the stench was difficult to get rid of, so we had to keep the ventilation on all the time. In addition, the toilet seats were not properly secured.The bedrooms themselves were well-appointed and looked nice, but storage space was poor. There is even a television in one bedroom.Most of the doors, however, were warped and difficult to close.The terrace was good and looked nice, the only thing missing was a parasol.The guest folder of the house with "important" information about the holiday destination was interesting but outdated. Some places no longer exist.There is WiFi, although it is not equally accessible everywhere in the house and not very fast, but it was freely available (cell phone network is very poor here).Overall, I am very satisfied with the house, as it is in a good location and also looks good. There are some criticisms and you have to get some things yourself, but that doesn't change the overall impression very much.I would recommend this house to anyone who wants to spend their vacation in a house on Rügen and enjoy it in a quiet environment.
