We were there for 4 days. The youth hostel is in a very nice location. There was always someone there to contact. The staff was extremely nice. We would love to come back.

We stayed here as a family for an overnight stay and we really enjoyed it. Sure it's an old-style hostel, but it's clean, the staff are friendly and there's a nice outdoor area. Food was OK. Breakfast was good, with selection. Dinner that evening was not suitable for vegetarians, but there was a salad buffet.

There was always someone available in advance.Our wishes were taken into account.Rooms were clean and cool at 29 degrees outside.Breakfast was okay, everything was available.There is a great Italian restaurant nearby.We were very satisfied

I was invited to Bispingen for a weekend holiday. The location is great. As a standard DJH, my expectations were met. I could have imagined a dessert with the grill package. Unfortunately, when booking, it was apparently overlooked that full board was supposed to be included. Accordingly, I had to forego fresh fruit because there wasn't enough for everyone at breakfast when there was a good occupancy. I know it better otherwise.

My son and I stayed here for 10 days and overall we liked it. The reception was relatively rarely staffed, but when it was, it was with absolutely lovely, friendly people. The dinner was very rich with a really great selection of salads. The room was completely okay and the outdoor area was great, great for the children to play and run around. What I was missing: seating areas in the hallways so I could read something in the evening without disturbing the child. Otherwise it was really great!

We like to stay at the Bispingen youth hostel when we are passing through. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were functional and clean (incidentally, we are usually only in the room to sleep), and the food was good.I can't understand all the criticism from the rants here. People don't want to pay anything, but want service like in a 5-star hotel. I find it funny that breakfast "is always the same" because I don't think that this group of people who are complaining here eat breakfast differently at home and with so many different jams, sausages, cheese, muesli, yoghurt etc. Incidentally, the rolls come from the baker and are not baked in the youth hostel in Bispingen, as is now done in many youth hostels.Many guests also forget that youth hostels are primarily about families and children and not about adults who have little understanding for children/young people.Why is there so much swearing here? Why in hindsight? Why not address the supposed problems, dissatisfaction or disturbers of the peace straight away instead of hiding behind a facade of reviews? Unfortunately, this anonymity is increasing, even in youth hostels.People complain about a shower that can't be locked. Why should it be closed? Nobody comes in when you're standing inside...and you have to change before you shower anyway.I grew up in youth hostels and am now over 50. The hostels usually always have good locations, be it for excursions, rest or away from traffic routes. Other accommodations here cost a lot more money. With children it is a problem-free accommodation with space and play options. Social activities are encouraged, you can get in touch with other people straight away if you want. There are lounges as well as outdoor areas for playing and sitting.Everything available in Bispingen. Sure, the house is getting a bit old... but is the old thing always bad? Unfortunately, nowadays there is far too much focus on external appearances, perhaps we should simply put other values first.You can definitely meet us again at JH Bispingen.

The quiet location on the edge of town and yet being able to quickly get to the action is great. On the day of arrival the young lady was also super nice, as was the kitchen staff. After that, unfortunately, things went downhill day after day. Toilet not cleaned daily or materials used listed. Breakfast was the same every day. Unfortunately, I also experienced twice that the sausage was gray-green. On the day of arrival, the room was OK at first glance, but when we made our own beds we realized that the difficult corners were often left out. Lots of dust under the beds!Beds are also very hard!Was a little disappointed. We've been to one or another Djh several times. Was expecting something different!

Room number 15 in the basement is very noisy. The walls are very thin. The hallway in front of the room is used by children to run around and play hide-and-seek until late at night, so the background noise is therefore very high. But it is a hostel for the youth; you can't blame the children. Very friendly staff. From around midnight everything is mostly quiet. Nice breakfast offering.

We booked for our little school trip and found the place really nice. It is close to CenterParcs (you can just walk there) and has a good connection time by bus to HeidePark. The rooms were good (you shouldn't expect a 5 star hotel) and on the property they had table tennis tables, a small football area, a free space where my students could play volleyball and comfortable hammocks. Best of all was the service. They were very friendly, flexible and helpful. Would recommend!

We spent a long weekend in the youth hostel. The location is on the outskirts of town, for children there is a playground, table tennis tables, etc. The breakfast was typical, the dinner was good. Unfortunately the wardrobes smelled moldy.

Were in the youth hostel for the second time. Everything is still great. Food still tasted very good.Many thanks to the chef, the potato salad was once again unique..... and we definitely weren't there for the last time 👍☀️A very nicely located youth hostel. My boys 10 and 13 felt very comfortable here.Very, very nice staff, both reception and kitchen 😊.The outdoor area invites you to play creatively.WiFi and mobile data can only be used in certain areas, not in the room, but that's not a bad thing.Just one request, the room doors and toilet ladies urgently need to be readjusted or oiled/provided with a door seal, they were very loudBut we'll definitely be back 😊.Thanks for a nice time

We were in the JH with many children and had 3 wonderful days. The youth hostel is very familiar and manageable. The food and breakfast were ok, the salad buffet was very tasty and the cleanliness of the rooms and premises was completely fine. The absolute highlight was the outdoor area. Our children were able to enjoy the entire time outdoors. Football pitch, table tennis tables, climbing wall, hammocks and the adjacent adventure forest made the entire stay an experience. You always had a good eye on the children and could relax in a cozy and family atmosphere. An absolute tip for families with children!!!

Dear youth hostel team,When I checked in there it took forever. The room wasn't particularly good but it could be worse. The room was far too narrow for 5 people. You could hardly move freely. Everything also seemed a bit old. The food was mediocre. There was often the same thing and the taste could be improved. The toilets and showers should be cleaned regularly, but unfortunately I didn't see anything like that. Unfortunately the showers could not be locked. In summary you can say it was ok. But it works better.Best regardssniffer cloth

It works. The rooms are good but not too good either. The food is rather repetitive. At least there is internet in the lounge and the room I was in. Relatively close to various shops such as Penny or a drinks market. Various attractions can also be reached relatively quickly by bus, so it is well placed. Rooms were clean so far. There were no toilets or showers in the rooms, these are in a separate room in which you cannot lock the showers, you can only lean on them.

We were already there in 2023 with our youth fire department. It is an old youth hostel, but well maintained and clean. I also thought the food was good. The only thing is that you only got packed lunches at lunchtime. I personally found it a shame. But what should I say. We would like to come back in 2024 and bring friends with us. I think that says it all
