We were there with the family and had 2 rooms. One was a very nice large room with a large bathroom. The second one wasn't really modernized yet. Above all, there were no sockets there. The staff was really very friendly.

Very well-kept, owner-managed, clean country inn with traditional German cuisine and very courteous, friendly management. On warm days you can also sit in the garden. The inn is a rare old family business. You can find out more about the details under the name “Gasthof Isernhagen”. My friends and I have been eating here at least once a month in a friendly atmosphere for many years. Unfortunately, there are not many German, traditionally family-run country inns left. The Gasthof Isernhagen is one of them. Unfortunately, his days are also numbered due to the lack of a successor.

I'll put it this way... if you expect honest cuisine and great value for money, you can't miss the pub... very hospitable and delicious food, unfortunately that's a bit lost due to the location... it's definitely worth a stop

Just ate Tafelspitz with horseradish sauce at a private party. First class cream! So tender and the sauce is subtly flavored. Really delicious! Nice salad and vegetable platter. An unexpected pleasure. Gladly again!

We have eaten in the restaurant there several times and each time it has been simply amazing. The food tastes great and can only be recommended. Beautiful German cuisine and there is something for everyone. The service is totally friendly and nice. The prices are absolutely acceptable. Great atmosphere and we always enjoy coming there to eat!!! We celebrated a birthday there today with my 2-year-old daughter and my 17-year-old sister's graduation party and they were really excited too. Only recommended!!! Kind regards again to the nice Mr. Isernhagen and to the chefs!! 😊

We were guests for the first time while traveling through Denmark.Positive:Very nice and courteous boss and innkeeper. Always friendly and with a “quick saying” on his lips. Food was prepared differently than expected (but that could be due to the different implementation in different areas of Germany, we come from southern Germany), but still delicious! Breakfast was sufficient, unfortunately a bit confusing for my pregnant wife (smoked sausage should be avoided by pregnant women, there were 3 different types available, and only one type of non-smoked sausage).Negative:Apparently only the modernized rooms are photographed on the website. We got a very outdated room that didn't correspond to the pictures on the website. The room also gave the impression that it had not been lived in for a long time. It wasn't overly dirty, but there was dust collecting in the corners of the bathroom, which suggests that the room hadn't been lived in for a while and hadn't been cleaned since. The bathroom was tiny and the price-performance ratio was perhaps appropriate for the region, but still a bit too expensive for my taste.Conclusion: completely sufficient for one night in transit, for a longer stay the modernized rooms should be offered and some attention should be paid to cleanliness.

Very friendly and accommodating host. The menu is getting old, but the food is tasty and well prepared. For 5 stars, I miss more vegetarian and light dishes.
