Review Guesthouse Menkenbauer Stay 10 days in September 2023.Price-performance ratio of the guest house, overpriced for what is offered.Garage can be rented, but is not lockable.Room furnishings leave a lot to be desired and cleaning is sparse.Bathroom was fine in the guest room I booked, hairdryer needs to be thrown away.The Wi-Fi connection is subpar, the dial-up rarely works, and if it's just enough to read something, that's all.Breakfast is kept simple, we recommend arriving by 9 a.m.Host very unfriendly and arrogant, if you want to have a nice day,Better not ask so much.For me, this guesthouse is not recommended.

A small, fine hotel/guesthouse which is run according to family tradition. The hosts and the employees are absolutely warm people. There are not only solutions to problems. The rooms are lovingly furnished and the included breakfast offers something for every taste. We as a family liked it so much that we extended it for another 2 days.Absolutely recommended 👍

Quiet location in the countryside, just outside Ruhpolding. Nevertheless, you can reach the center in 15 minutes on foot. Also great as a starting point for hikes and bike tours.The rooms are modernly furnished and there are chairs, a table and a parasol on the balcony.The breakfast buffet is rich and very tasty, nothing is missing.There is a large refrigerator in the basement for guests. At lunchtime you can get coffee and tea for free.The hosts are also very friendly and helpful.We'd love to come back.

In the guesthouse with breakfast and friendly service, you don't miss anything. Free coffee/tea/juice bar is available to guesthouse guests. Excursion material is provided. Washing machine and dryer for a fee. Large loungers in the garden and space to play badminton. Walking distance to the center and outdoor pool 10 minutes. As regular guests, we would love to come back.

A very hospitable house. Very clean, well-kept and well-equipped apartment. Home-baked Christmas cookies and a small Christmas tree welcome guests as they move in during the Christmas season. I would have liked to give 5 stars. Check out was scheduled for 10 a.m. This wasn't entirely stress-free, as the cleaning ladies asked to be let in as early as 9:45 a.m. Therefore one star less.

Very nice guest house with a good breakfast buffet. Rooms very clean and nicely furnished. In 15 minutes you can walk to the village center, where you can find many restaurants. Great starting point for many activities. Gladly again at any time.

Well-kept, clean rooms including bathroom (no hair or stains of any kind).The breakfast buffet has oatmeal, muesli, fruit, vegetables, quark, sweets, rolls and bread, cold cuts, etc.The outdoor area has, among other things, two small football goals, a volleyball net and sun loungers.Large parking lot free of charge.WiFi free of charge.

Excellent structure, impeccable service, everything clean, amazing breakfast room available until late in the evening for tea and coffee, room for relaxation and games, hospitable and collaborative owners and collaborators, cuddly cats, in nature, close to pubs, typical restaurants and not, easily accessible paths. It's a shame to have to go home.

We arrived in Ruhpolding today on June 19th, 2022 and were given a warm welcome by the hostess. We rented a holiday apartment that is very nicely furnished. The outdoor terrace has a table set with two sun loungers. A barbecue is also available. My first summary TOP!!!!!!! Highly recommended 👍

Vacation as it should be! After a warm welcome, we were able to move into our rooms and the holiday apartment. Everything was sparkling clean, very lovingly furnished and the apartment in particular was equipped with everything you need.I would definitely like to highlight the breakfast buffet! Cheese and sausage from the butcher, various warm eggs (breakfast and scrambled), a large selection of cereals, yoghurts and puddings, fresh fruit, homemade jams and so much more. And all with a view of the mountains - what more could you want?Thank you very much for the beautiful, relaxing days!
