We stayed at Haus Matzl for one night. The welcome was very, very nice. Nice host. We had the family room with a seating area for 2 adults and 2 children. I'm more of a type of person who has trouble sleeping at least the first night in hotels/pensions, which is usually due to the beds, pillows and blankets. Here I was in the land of dreams after 10 minutes :-). Breakfast was included in the price and was really sufficient. We'd be happy to come back when we're in the region around Ruhpolding again.

Absolutely recommended! We came with a dog and it was a great stay despite the wet weather. The location is ideal as you can walk with your dog within 1!! Minute in nature and 10 minutes walk to the village center. Rich breakfast, where our wishes were taken into account. The small, clean communal kitchen offers, among other things, the opportunity to make tea. The operating family is very friendly and personal! Just great!! We thought it was so great that we're checking in there again in just under 3 months!By the way, also highly recommended: n 10 minutes walk to stop at the “Cream Bag Countess”!! Definitely worth a sin!

Beautiful, relaxing location with very kind and friendly hosts. Our dog and we felt very comfortable. Every morning from 8 a.m. there is a delicious breakfast with everything you need. We were also very lucky in terms of weather and every evening we were able to look at the mountains illuminated by the sun on the large (shared balcony, it extends over 3 rooms) rustic wooden balcony that belongs to the room and end the day comfortably. Very nice and well-kept guesthouse with a very friendly innkeeper. The rooms are clean and tidy and the location is fantastic with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains and the town of Ruhpolding. The breakfast was absolutely sufficient and delicious. LG from Dresden

Beautiful typical family house very well located in a quiet area surrounded by greenery. Spacious room with panoramic balcony. Very friendly hosts, family atmosphere, full sweet and savory breakfast. Beautiful region, lots of things to visit. We would happily come back.

We stayed with two families and a dog in the rustic, beautifully located and very quiet guesthouse and had 3 rooms with a connected balcony. That was ideal for the 7 of us. The decor is rustic and the rooms are very clean. Towels were changed very often. The breakfast was great. Fresh orange juice, cold cuts, cheese, fresh rolls, even gluten-free bread was bought for me. There were eggs when they were laid. Just great! Otto & Lisa Berger are very helpful and nice and always very friendly. There was a large fridge for everyone with a good system and kettle etc. Simply recommended. We went on a lot of trips. The Thumsee nearby is great, hikes, Königssee, Salzburg and a short walk and you are in town for dinner or something similar. All in all a great holiday! Thanks again from Bremen.

We had very nice and relaxing days at Haus Matzl. The hostess is really nice and warm, the breakfast was lovingly prepared and the room was also very comfortable. We felt very comfortable there with our 2 dogs and would spend our vacation there again at any time! The price-performance ratio was great and the location of the house was a good starting point for hikes, visiting the town or other activities.
