We stayed at the Hotel Atina for one night last weekend. The old-fashionedness, which some people criticize, didn't bother us at all. I think it fits so well. It was important to us that everything was clean and tidy. The view from the balcony was simply mega. The breakfast was also full, the nice gentleman always came and asked if you needed anything. We would come back any time. We felt very comfortable and were completely satisfied.

The owners of Hotel Atina are very friendly and nice, my friend and I felt very comfortable here, had a single room, slept very well in the beds, everything else was easy to reach from Hotel Atina, if you don't have any other requirements, very nice hotel, not too expensive, we will definitely go back here next year.

Great retro hotel. There is free parking and breakfast is included in the price. Close to the center, 5 minutes walk to the thermal baths.

Extremely disappointed! Neglected hotel!INTERNET APPEARANCE: Some of the photos on Maps refer to completely different places. Regarding the good average rating, Maps writes: “Rating is based on sightseeing, leisure and transport options”! So not primarily on the hotel! For example, the sauna pool was not available/usable as shown on maps.PAYMENT: cash only, no EC card possible.BEDS: old, saggy mattress that squeaked so much that you woke up every moment. After several complaints, the landlord replaced it with a better one after two days. Feather beds/pillows old and collapsed; when shaken, tiny pieces of feathers flew through the air.SHOWER: leaky shower head, with hairline cracks that sprayed water in all directionsLAMPS: One part of the hanging lamp was broken/missing, one bulb did not lightTELEVISION: placed on a rickety table, which was used to block the cupboard doorCLEANLINESS: dirty window panes, carpet full of hair, (only the bathroom was cleaned properly)BALCONY: two plastic chairs, the "Hollywood swing" blocked the view and was repaired with raw wooden boards (see photo)HOTEL PREMISES: Holes in the walls covered with scraps of paper (see photo)BREAKFAST: Minimum standard, old bread rolls, no fruit. Vegetable decorations from the previous day re-releasedEXTERIOR: unkemptThe only plus point: you could quickly get to the city center via a small staircase.

Good location within walking distance of the city center.Price-performance ratio is rather poor.Breakfast very spartan, baked rolls, no scrambled eggs, hardly any fruit.Only liquid soap in the bathroom, no shower shampoo, no hairdryer.Flat screen TV is fine.If you expect little, then it's fine, but for 100 EUR you expect a little more.Fresh bakery rolls, a few croissants and a bit of fruit salad would simply improve the start of the day

I was shocked as soon as I arrived. Musty smell in the entrance, ancient carpets and inventory, kitschy decoration.The first thing that surprised me in the room was the green rotary telephone from the 80s, the beige bathroom and the dirty old-fashioned balcony and a picture that hung there in shreds.The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The table was dusty and the balcony was covered in cobwebs.In the beige bathroom the toilet lid was loose so I had to be careful every time that it didn't knock me down. It was too dark, the hairdryer was totally sticky and just gross. I had to force myself to take a shower.The breakfast was mediocre. The rolls were over-baked even though there was a baker nearby. There wasn't enough fruit and not even quark or cream cheese.And what was worst:The owner texted me throughout breakfast for the first two days. Nothing against a little conversation, it was too much.The only thing that worked somewhat was the bed.And what was great was the location to the city and the quiet at night.Otherwise never again.I'd rather pay a few euros more and feel comfortable, as it should be in Urlsub.

I stayed at the hotel with my sister from May 6th to 8th. We received a very friendly welcome and were given very good tips about where we could go out to eat and what else was going on in Bad Wildbad. The two single rooms were very clean. The breakfast was completely sufficient, what was missing was refilled and it wasn't so filling that half of it had to be thrown away afterwards. Of course the hotel and its furnishings are getting old, but we felt very comfortable!

Please stay away from vouchers!I haven't seen a phone or scale like this since the 80s. For breakfast there were only baked rolls, no fresh ones, even though it was only a few steps to the city center and therefore to the bakery

The hotel is very old. I don't think anything will be invested anymore.The breakfast was just about enough. The decoration at the buffet was outstanding.Almost no fruit.There were probably 50 year old towels hanging in the bathroom.It smelled musty and the whole hotel wasn't heated enough.The location of the hotel is very good, a short walk to the pedestrian zone.Once and never again.

Super friendly hosts! Happy to provide information and tips. Breakfast was okay. Rooms were clean. Great view over the valley. Super individual style, for some it might be a bit cheesy, I liked it - could also appear in a Tarantino road movie ;)

A beautiful Black Forest hotel. Attentive and friendly staff. The rooms were clean and from the balcony with a porch swing you have a beautiful view of Bad Wildbad. The minibar prices are moderate. The breakfast was great. There is also free WiFi. I would go there again.

Neat hotel with good price-quality ratio. Given the nice weather, we were allowed to have breakfast outside. Good room with balcony. Head pillow on the soft side. Excellent base for motorcycle rides. Quite a steep slope to the hotel

The entrance is very steep, whether on foot or by car. The entrance smelled quite musty (maybe mold? More on that later). Once you get to the information desk, you first have to provide some personal information. It makes you feel very watched. You got the key and went up to the room. The room itself smelled like the entrance, only worse. There was a thick layer of dust on the tables and the edges of the bed. The battery on the TV remote control was dead and a light bulb was broken. In the bathroom there were old frayed towels and a toothbrush cup with the previous tenant's leftovers...In the morning I noticed a damp smell in the room, which came from the two windows that were wet and foggy on the inside. There may be mold infestation throughout the house. I didn't eat breakfast and was happy to be out.Oh and there is no card payment...
