Such wonderful days! Absolutely good service and a hotel run with so much attention to detail. Beautiful sauna, great breakfast and - as I said - incredibly good service. If you're in the area, stop here - it's worth it!

The Hotel Am Mühlbach is a valuable asset for Forbach in every respect. This year I took the train to Forbach. Since there are no taxis here anymore, I was picked up at the train station and taken back to the train at the end of my stay. Rooms, cleanliness and service are great. Highly recommended!!!

We had a great stay! The location is great for hiking in the Black Forest. Breakfast is good value for money - although it is quite early (max. until 9:30). Rooms were great: clean, large bathroom and the beautiful background sound of the stream that runs right next to the hotel.Overall, it is a sweet and romantic family-run hotel whose hosts are always friendly, accommodating and helpful, but also professional. Only recommended!

Four of us were traveling on the Westweg and stayed at the Hotel am Mühlbach for one night. We were completely impressed by the friendliness of the owners, the small sauna, the service and, above all, the delicious dinner. The hotel is run with a lot of commitment, friendliness and closeness to the guests. We can only recommend it.

Nicely located hotel. The babbling of the stream that we heard from our room was a dream and great for falling asleep. The breakfast selection was very good and the owners of the hotel are friendly and try hard to please every guest. In addition, the dinner was very good! (This is not offered every night. If you get the chance, you should try it)

Nice hotel, in beautiful surroundings and with incredibly friendly hosts. We came back here a second time because we had such a nice stay here the first time. It was also great the 2nd time!

The vacation was wonderful. The hotel is in a great location for hiking and even short trips to France are no problem. The innkeepers were really super accommodating and friendly. The rooms were totally adequate and were cleaned wonderfully every day by the friendly cleaning lady. The breakfast was small but had everything you needed. Extra requests were always taken into account.We would be happy to come back and will always recommend the hotel. Kind regards to the hotel owners :-)PS: 5 stars are almost no longer enough here, I would rather give 6!

Perfect accommodation in Forbach! Super friendly, helpful and personable hosts, rich breakfast, great packed lunch (we were on the Westweg). In the evening there is a sauna at its finest, as well as the idyllic little garden with a babbling stream. Five stars, absolute recommendation!

Last week we enjoyed staying in this hospitable family hotel. Nice, tidy rooms, a well-organized breakfast and dinner available four evenings a week. You could also get free tea and coffee (or cappuccino, etc.) during the day, very nice! The host and hostess were sweet and helpful and could tell a lot about the beautiful surroundings.We went hiking at the Schwarzenbach reservoir and the Gertelbach waterfalls, swimming at the Montana bath and by train to the town of Freudestadt. A nice bonus was that with the hotel's guest card, all bus and train transport and access to the swimming pool were free. We enjoyed it!

These people deserve 6 stars.Very healthy breakfast with a low sugar content. You can break oats yourself with a mill, everything very neatly.Excellent room and beds.Nice sauna and soothing flowing stream.Always parking space.Super friendly people, great!

Hotel am Mühlbach is a delightful home base for exploring the Black Forest. The hosts are a lovely couple who and incredibly accomodating. I emailed ahead of time to let them know we would like a vegetarian dinner, and they were ready with an alternate main course. Our train was delayed for our arrival and we were worried we would get to dinner late and not be able to freshen up from our day of travel. Viaceslav picked us up at the train station and his wife whisked us to our room so that we were able to freshen up and get to the dining room just as they were beginning to serve. Breakfast was hearty and the packed lunches were so convenient. The town is quiet, dark, and conveniently located to hikes and the train station. My only word of warning is that there are few restaurant options, so I definitely recommend the hotel dinner. Highly highly recommend!

We felt welcome and comfortable from the first moment. The owner couple always tries to fulfill all wishes. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Breakfast can also be eaten on the beautiful terrace.The rooms and bathrooms, like the entire hotel, are extremely clean and pleasantly equipped with everything you need. There are tasteful art objects everywhere. The WiFi works well everywhere. We were able to store our motorcycles in the garage.We'd love to come back.

On my hike (Westweg) I booked a room at the Hotel Mühlebach. Quick confirmation. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Had a nice room with a balcony and a large bathroom. Food and breakfast were delicious. Can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience. Thank you.

We felt very comfortable in the Hotel am Mühlbach. The rooms and premises were pleasantly quiet and well maintained. The Kuznecov family was very attentive and warm and cooks a delicious dinner menu four times a week. We recommend!

Very nice hotel with very friendly service. We were able to sit on a nice balcony until late with a view of the green garden and the small stream. The host even brought us a special light and asked several times if we needed anything. The room was also fine! Breakfast was well organized and oat milk was offered for vegans. A few more vegan options for breakfast might have been nice, but perhaps few tourists ask for this.

Everything was perfect in this small but nice hotel: very quiet location on the Mühlbach, garage with a socket for the bikes, equipped with tools and an air pump if needed. Modern rooms, friendly dining room with a balcony for sitting outside and a great light, three-course evening menu. The most extraordinary thing, however, was the extraordinary attentiveness of the host couple. We'd love to come back!!!
