It is a very nice hotel, very clean and good beds, very nice owners, a wonderful breakfast, very plentiful and the homemade bread of many different kinds inspires you to try it out yourself.We felt very comfortable. Thank you

We really loved our stay here! Everyone was really kind and friendly and the breakfast was superb! The location is perfect for walks in the forest as well and is also quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend

I went hiking and stayed overnight at Wanderlust. Was given a friendly welcome, rooms were completely sufficient and the best thing was the breakfast. I'd love to come back.Thanks

Great family-run guesthouse with excellent breakfast.Very friendly owners, clean, beautiful room and an outstanding, lovingly prepared breakfast with many homemade products (herbal tea, various jams, homemade rolls and bread) of outstanding quality/taste. We felt very well looked after and cared for. Again any time!

Very nice owners, friendly welcome and conversations. The rooms are nice and well equipped, breakfast was tasty and sufficient. Even though we were only here for one night, we got a positive impression and would definitely come back if the opportunity arises.

I slept here for one night during my bikepacking trip and it was the best stay I had so far!! The hosts are both very friendly and make you feel welcome. The breakfast is also fenomenal, with home made bread and freshly made smoothie oat bowl. This is a rare find that you don’t come across that often anymore nowadays!!!

As others have mentioned, a poor check in experience. In my case it resulted in my disabled friend and elderly mother-in-law being denied access to the hotel due to being delayed following an incident in Heidelberg. When my friend who made the booking explained the situation, the owners (who would not give their name) said that it was not their problem and claimed that Heidelberg was 2 hours away (this is false, it’s approximately an hour away according to Google maps). They refused to allow the four of us to arrive late despite the exceptional circumstances, leaving all of us stranded with nowhere to sleep. They have to date provided a derisory €9 refund with no explanation on how they have arrived at this figure given that the cost of the booking was €246!As you can imagine, this continued dispute and complete lack of discretion or empathy demonstrated by Saeed and Marianne Habibzadeh towards a disabled man is having a detrimental impact on his mental health and well-being which is already in a fragile state. My elderly mother-in-law was also traumatised by this experience.I am incredibly disappointed especially given how positive the majority of reviews are for this hotel.

Thank you very much for the friendly, loving (especially the lovingly prepared breakfast) and simply wonderful overnight stay with you. Thank you for adapting so spontaneously to our diet (vegan) ♥ And it's nice that dogs are also welcome guests: Mila also felt very comfortable in the quiet and clean room. It was also perfect for them that there were hiking trails right outside their front door! And last but not least: Thanks for the excursion tips - we took note of them and were very grateful for the "insider knowledge".

A lovely hotel in the middle of the black forest. The rooms are large and clean. The owners Marianne and Saed will make you feel at home and thanks to them you will discover all the possible itineraries to fully enjoy this splendid place. Our dog was pampered upon arrival with a bowl of water and a bag of kibble. Absolutely recommended!
