Between the years we had enough vacation to continue on our Way of St. James from Lehrberg to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. We felt very comfortable in the Blank family's accommodation and would like to thank them for their friendliness, their courtesy and every nice chat we were able to have.What we liked best were the daily fresh and damn tasty rolls on the doorstep :-), although after a strenuous hike a shower and a comfortable bed were the main reason for this accommodation.Lauterbach itself doesn't have much to offer apart from the Mohrenhof Franken, a camping and motorhome parking space. We therefore really enjoyed the quiet turn of the year.Rothenburg ob der Tauber is quickly reached; Here you will find everything a tourist's heart desires.Thank you again to our hostel parents, we had a lovely New Year's holiday with you.

It was a very, very nice vacation. Nice people, great service. Family owned. There might be a few more animals. But everything is done to make you feel comfortable. The children had fun and the whole place is one holiday resort. The children can experience so much and the parents can relax. Grandmas and grandpas really get to know their grandchildren here and can get to know each other again. The apartments are very nicely furnished and very generous in terms of space.Maybe it will work again next year. In any case it is recommended.

Family vacation on this beautiful farm, everyone gets their money's worth. Whether mucking out the stable or riding a pony. Definitely a highlight for children.There is a huge indoor playground (on rainy days) and a campsite with a lake and sandy beach nearby.An area that offers a variety of outdoor activities.Super nice farm owners. We would come back at any time.

Great stay. The owners are really nice and the place is idyllic for a family. Children can enjoy the animals, take pony rides, enjoy the large garden; there are also games available. The apartments are well equipped and insulated, despite a scorching week we were always cool in the apartment. I recommend!

A great holiday farm!In addition to the daily stable work for the children, there are Kettcars, Bobbycars, etc. available, but in bad weather there is also a room for running around, dressing up, etc. Even a grill or a table tennis table are available for the adults. Every family can find their own cozy spot with tables in the garden - even if the very spacious apartments do not have a balcony or terrace. The farm offers ponies, chickens, goats and cats, all of which are accessible to the kids. The children are allowed to ride the ponies 1-2 times a week (€3/child). The possibility of a covered wagon ride with the owner Helmut Blank is also really great. In addition, within walking distance is a swimming pond with sanitary facilities and a snack bar, a pub and, brand new: an adventure golf course. There is a playground right on the beach of the swimming pond, another right next to the farm. So even if you don't want to go to the big attractions like Nuremberg Zoo or Playmobilland, which are about 50-60 minutes away, you can still spend your vacation here without using the car.We'd love to come back!

This was our second time at the Blank family farm. Everything was great again. The farm is in a pleasantly quiet location. The children can also help with the stable work, but they don't have to. There are also various leisure equipment on the farm that can be used free of charge. You can let your children play on the farm without thinking about it. We also recommend the bread roll service and the fresh eggs from happy chickens. This farm is completely suitable for families to relax. We'd love to come back.

We stayed here for 1 week in July this year. Unfortunately not very enthusiastic. We would have liked a softer bed where you get up in the morning and wake up without back pain. A sofa that is comfortable and not hard as a board, just cozy. It would also have been nice if you could have cooked without the fuses blowing out. A broom, hand brush, shovel and mop in the apartment would also have been great. We would like to have offers for the child, e.g. driving a tractor, campfire or some activity on the farm. There was someone who offered stick bread, but externally. The swimming pond nearby, 3 minutes walk was great. You could also order bread rolls from the farm, milk and even eggs. You could use the washing machine, dryer and clothesline for a fee. You were allowed to use the herb garden, pick fruit and there was a pair of play equipment. 3 horses, (you could also ride) goats and cats. If you have few demands and are just looking for somewhere to stay overnight, it's fine. However, the Nehmeier family's last farm in Franconia was much better. It's a bit expensive, but you have to know what's important to you. I am sure the Blank family will accept the constructive criticism and will pay a little more attention to the wishes of your guests.
