Family business, really great innkeepers/hoteliers with super nice waitresses, chambermaids and lots of invisible ladies who make your vacation as pleasant as possible. Excellent cuisine.I was there for the third time with our motorcycle club MSC Fürstenfeldbruck because everything was just right.Ideal for motorcyclists/corner robbersgreat roads and areas in the Bavarian Forest and the Czech Republic.In the evening after the tour, relax with good food, lots of gas talks, sauna or whirlpool and swimming pool.It was so great again that we will probably come back a fourth time.

Ideal as a motorcycle starting point for Bavarian Forest and Czech Republic tours. The landlady “Claudia” was very warm and helpful. We stayed in the old part, it's cheaper, but completely fine. HB possible, underground car park available and access to the wellness area. After 3 days, overnight stays become cheaper.Highly recommended!!

The Sonneneck and Brunnenhof hotels in Bayerisch Eisenstein are directly opposite and form a unified hotel complex.I was there with my motorcycle from September 19th to 21st, 2023. Although the hotel complex does not belong to the group of touring hotels, it is still much better for motorcyclists than most touring hotels. There is a large, free underground car park that is equipped with many useful items such as helmet cleaners, washing items, small tools, etc.Otherwise the hotel complex is great. The rooms are spacious and offer plenty of space even for two people. The spacious wellness area with swimming pool, sauna and fitness room is particularly good. You can spend a whole rainy day pleasantly here.The breakfast and dinner are exemplary. Nothing is missing. You'll never want to leave the cozy Bavarian restaurant.The boss is an extremely likeable person. You can immediately feel that under her leadership everything is organized with care and diligence.So dear motorcyclists:Forget the tour driver hotels and go to the Sonneneck / Brunnenhof hotel complex in Bayerisch Eisenstein!Martin from Cologne

A great guesthouse with a very good view of the Großer Arber. The rooms have everything you need, only they are a bit old. The wellness area with sauna, whirlpool and indoor pool is opposite in the Hotel Brunnenhof. Breakfast was also served at the hotel. Good bus and train connections in the cozy village of Bayrisch Eisenstein.

Good breakfast, very friendly staff. Lounge quite dark. Great wellness area and delicious half board opposite in the Brunnenhof, which you can also use as a Sonneneck guest.

Rooms in the older part are getting old. Staff very unfriendly. We were traveling as a group and booked the Sonneneck again with around 20 people, as in previous years, but this time not everyone stayed there. To top it all off, those from outside were basically banned from the house (see photo). Which was also checked.I will certainly not book there again as I find this behavior impossible.That was really bad.

Great place for a stop during your bike tour. Friendly Staff, very clean rooms. Bikes can be parked in the garage without extra charges. Breakfast is exceptional, with a great variety of food. Prepared with ❤️. Very fair price level.
