Nice hotel opposite the Rhine, the food is highly recommended, the overnight stay should be good, but I haven't tried it myself yet.Very tasty, sometimes unusual dishes with regional ingredients at a moderate price. It was also seen on TV.Since it is so beautifully located on the Rhine behind Rüdesheim, a day trip here is always worth it. I would recommend a stroll in Rüdesheim to digest or to the beautiful Niederwald monument.

We spontaneously visited for dinner and had salmon with risotto and Mediterranean pork cheeks. Both dishes consisted of very high-quality ingredients and were prepared with excellent craftsmanship - we recommend them without reservation! The service was also remarkable. We were warmly welcomed and looked after, and our dog was also welcome. A thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish. Next time we're in the area we'll definitely be staying here again!

We were here over the weekend and overall satisfied. The breakfast is ok, the service good. The room was spacious and tidy. A little dust here and there, the stains from mosquitoes or something similar on the curtains were a bit disgusting. As a suggestion for improvement, a fly screen on the windows would be a huge advantage. It would be good if it were stated on the website that the free parking spaces are only limited and do not belong directly to the hotel and that there is significant noise pollution due to the train line running directly past the hotel with a lot of train traffic, even at night. And I personally think that dogs have no place in a hotel, sorry.

Just to the restaurant:We weren't very impressed with this "gourmet restaurant". The food was okay, but there was nothing special about it.The design of the menu (and prices) makes it seem like this restaurant wants to be more than it is. Why all the side dishes were served in separate bowls is a mystery to me. We had to play Tetris with our dishes so that everything would somehow fit on the table. And that with a huge plate that just looks empty.Having to share the side dishes together from one bowl also seems anything but “gourmet”.If this had been a simple, friendly inn with good prices, I wouldn't have anything to complain about, but the price-performance ratio isn't very great here.

I only rate the restaurant and its service here. I wanted something to drink, entered the restaurant and asked if there was room for one person. There was a sign outside saying "closed this afternoon" BUT there were a few tourists on the terrace. No, you couldn't entertain me, the kitchen would have too much to do with the two parties in the restaurant and in the back garden! I asked why people served on the terrace... "Yeah, that's just the way it is." Being friendly is different, but if you don't have to rely on it, then that was my first and last attempt. I can't say anything about the hotel, but after this experience I certainly wouldn't book it.

We were here to eat, it was okay. The portions are huge.....I don't think it's up to date anymore......, my meat is too well cooked.....but I still hope that houses like this will be preserved :) A lot Success

Good starting point into the Rhine Valley. Rüdesheim and Bingen are close by and easily accessible. The train station is close by and there are good train connections, unfortunately you also notice this at night. Unfortunately earplugs were necessary. Very good service and food was excellent.

Yesterday we went to the Tarrasse again for dinner. As always, very good food with the braised beef shoulder being outstanding. Really old, classic cuisine like the one I was able to learn. Price performance is still good.
