Terrible service, several faulty toilets and showers, faulty soap dispensers and hand dryers, noise from the motorway, breakfast bread was not ready on time.

The service house was great. Good restaurant Couldn't find where to empty the camper. Not pleasant with all the poo from rabbits (hares?) and birds everywhere, but of course nothing you can control.

We were here on the site for a week and were right on the lake. We received a very friendly welcome, the employees at the reception and in the kiosk were always approachable and friendly.Unfortunately, not all showers and not all taps worked. Since we were here in the preseason this wasn't a problem, but perhaps it should be repaired.It would also be good if someone would walk across the square once a day and take care of the rubbish lying around (we then simply picked up the things ourselves after two days)The restaurant on the square is highly recommended, whether pizza, pasta or meat dishes, everything is a pleasure and you feel completely at home there.All in all a nice week and we will come back, but there is still room for improvement.

Last weekend we had our annual camp at the Buddenkuhle again. Great place, beautiful lake, very nice staff 👍

On the day of arrival it was immediately apparent that there was no real waiting area in front of the barrier. Also that most of the plots on the fence have come down properly. The staff is very nice. But as I've written a hundred times, it's not very nice and not very clean. Almost everything needs to be replaced or repaired.And there was a group of people living in the caravan. Who dump their gray water into the bushes or use them as toilets. We were just told that it would be passed on. This place has so much potential but everything is so half-hearted. You can also go for a lot of walking there.But the way the place is at the moment, we will never go there again. We also talked to a long-term camper who only confirmed our point of view. I only took a few photos. The food there was very tasty. But when we visited the restaurant, the toilet wasn't exactly clean either.

Unfortunately we weren't asked for feedback when checking out - hence this way.Overall, we are happy to have found a place at very short notice, but we would not choose the place again.The website appearance of the place and the realistic impression were completely different. The picture of the playground on the homepage does not show the existing playground in Ladbergen!A collection of our impressions from the last 4 days:*Booking quickly and easily via the homepage*Electricity included in the price*cheap price*Getting there from the motorway exit is very quick and easy-The route along the site is very uninviting:Abandoned / dilapidated / littered plots-few but nice staff*assigned plot of land generous, electricity and fresh water in the immediate vicinity-unfortunately there is no map or similar available or demand for the desired parking space (neither online nor on site) otherwise we would have loved to stand on the meadow by the lake and at the playground-long-term camper pitches predominate. Here, too, the impression of the access was confirmed: some of the plots were quite unsightly. The vibrating plate was turned on again at 8:30 p.m. on another plot of land-Overall, the place absolutely does not do justice to the term 'natural place'-The old/previous washhouse is also an uninviting spot*The rental properties look very new and inviting and are located directly on the lakeshore-washhouses:- showers are partly defective or only have very hot water (cold water supply is controlled manually, hot water at the push of a button for 3 minutes)- the majority of sockets are defective- Toilets partly very dirty, extreme smell. Despite cleaning twice a day according to the cleaning schedule- Washing machines/dryers only in women's washhouse- ⁠rusted radiator with rusty water dripping out of it- ⁠Trash cans and toilet brushes dirty- ⁠toilet seats made of the thinnest plastic and smaller than a toilet*Towel roll, toilet paper and soap usually replenished.*Changing table for both women and men*Hot water included in the price*Beautiful swimming lake with a sandy beach on site - use included in the price- Unfortunately there are a lot of cigarette butts and rubbish despite there being several rubbish bins*Small playground by the lake: existing equipment is in very good condition*Restaurant and snack bar available on site - staff very friendly, good fries to take away at a good price.*small shop with bread service and chilled drinksSome things probably cannot be changed directly by the operator (handling of materials/leaving the existing locations behind). But other things could also be changed.

I spent a weekend here with my father, my son and my nephew. It was beautiful. The location right on the lake is great.The place and the sanitary facilities are clean.The staff is very nice.I felt very comfortable.

Unfortunately, the campsite has changed very much for the worse. The campsite itself has good potential but unfortunately it is not being used. Now everything is totally dirty, be it the sanitary facilities or the beach. The sanitary facilities are cleaned perhaps once every two weeks, but this is done every day. The beach is also full of dog poop everywhere and the children can't play there at all. The whole beach stinks now. Children's entertainment is no longer offered and there hasn't been a groundskeeper, let alone a contact person, for a long time. Unfortunately, miserable conditions and not even worth 1 star

I was at the campsite for a week in May 2024 and not for the first time! Last year, after my vacation, I pointed out the grievances and personally contacted the vacation support in Kiel! The place is beautifully located on a small lake but that's about it! The only problem that has probably been remedied this year is the renovation of the women's washrooms and it's hard to believe that there was really warm water, the mold had been removed and of the 7 shower cubicles only one was closed because it was broken. Last year only one worked! As already mentioned, the place is very nice but it is becoming more and more littered! Apparently a lot of long-term campers are giving up their places and as a result the plots are no longer maintained and the bulky waste is stored in various places on the site! On the meadows where there are actually caravans and mobile homes, permanent campers have put up barrier tape so that tourists don't get too close to them?! None of the staff seems to feel responsible for restoring order and cleanliness! Setting up and aligning the caravan was also a challenge due to the many rabbit holes! In order to get the electricity that you have booked, you first have to look for the groundskeeper and ask him to activate the booked option, which was done quite reluctantly and was apparently too much for the employee! What shocked me personally were the power cables that were not insulated (see Pictures) simply looked out of the ground in the meadows, I had already reported this exact problem last year!! Unfortunately nothing has been done! It was also incomprehensible to me that the passage next to the barrier was constantly blocked with a stand and barrier tape!! A relaxed walk (with a dog) so as not to constantly have to slalom past the gate and the people standing in front of the kiosk was not possible! Unfortunately I don't have an explanation for this because it was something completely new and completely unnecessary - the path had always been used up until now! I have no idea why such a beautiful place would be run down!! I read here that the employees are very nice! Which employees?! I called the emergency number posted on the gate because I couldn't get out of the place because the card didn't work and the barrier couldn't be opened! I then asked a long-term employee to give me his card because I urgently had to go to the pharmacy! After 4 hours I received a call back from this emergency number! When asked why an emergency number only calls back after 4 hours, I was told... He didn't assume there was an emergency! I was speechless because I am a diabetic who requires insulin and had to go to the pharmacy!! I hope that the responsible employees read this and remedy the situation!
