Restaurant located very close to the Fichtelbergbahn train station and within walking distance from there. We fortified ourselves there for the trip. It is currently being renovated and is therefore a bit strange from the outside, but the food is really delicious and plentiful. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. There is currently a limited menu. Very nice service with local tips. However, the hygiene options are problematic due to the renovations.

There is still a bit of work to be done on the house, the rooms and breakfast offered are good. Price-performance is good. Restaurant is good. The narrow-gauge railway stop is a few minutes away.

The deterrent environment is likely to remain unchanged. It wasn't exactly clean and inviting inside either and the gentleman behind the counter didn't ask us what we wanted. It doesn't work at all.

There were five of us (one child) here. We had 2 rooms and stayed here for 3 nights. We liked it very much. The hosts were very friendly and the food tasted very good.The rooms are completely sufficient.Eating from the hot stone is highly recommended. In addition, it is a very good price/performance ratio. The location of the guesthouse is also good, not far from the tourist train station and close to the forest. We will definitely come back.

I was there for the second time for the winter holidays with my daughter and we were completely satisfied again. The rooms are simple but pleasant, clean and fairly recently renovated. The breakfast is very good, especially the fresh rolls. The food in the restaurant is a taste experience and can definitely compete with the best restaurants in the area. The hosts are super friendly, open and helpful. Just nice real people. We also like the proximity to the Fichtelbergbahn (<5 minutes) because it means you can easily leave the car and drive up to Oberwiesenthal or down to Neudorf to ski or toboggan. If you don't need luxury or appearances, you will find a great guesthouse here.

Don't be deceived by external appearance. Everything in the guest room is new and in very good condition. The good food in the small restaurant is highly recommended. We'd love to come back!

Well, that's how it works. Tablecloths and seat cushions need to be cleaned. The food is OK, but there is no salad garnish.

Don't let the external appearance on site deceive you. Everything inside is brand new! Eating in the small restaurant is highly recommended. We'd love to come back!

The first meal was VERY TASTY, the host was nice and polite, I would say the price was almost unbeatable. Unfortunately it's not very inviting from the outside, but everything inside is nice and tidy. We would go there again and hope that it will soon be nice outside too.

We found this restaurant by chance on a hike on the tourist train route. Don't let the exterior of the building put you off. The service was great and the food (Trout Müllerin style) was one of the best I've ever eaten. Thank you that restaurants like this still exist. Feel free to come back!
