I was there for a class reunion!Unfortunately the food was below average!Schnitzel buffet (€30 per person):The inn boasts on the menu that it has “the best schnitzels around”!I've had better food on the motorway than what we were served there. Hardly any taste in the schnitzels. The salad place was placed on the table without any refrigeration. There were 2 dressings: American and mustard dressing.There were also boiled potatoes and croquettes... these tasted acceptable.The vegetables were cold and sometimes hard. There was no sauce for the vegetables! (In the region, hollandaise sauce is usually served with it)The schnitzels came with 2 sauces: mushroom cream sauce and Balkan sauce (these tasted good with fresh ingredients)However, for €30 this was far too expensive!! Maybe the owners should use the crap themselves for food!!Drinks are also overpriced considering you are in the country. 0.5l cola €4.90!!It should also be mentioned that this area urgently needs renovation!Never again! Avoid this place!!

Rooms very small and in need of renovation. WiFi doesn't work. Room was not cleaned during my stay. Lots of dead mosquitoes on the wall.

I spent 2 nights here and I have to say I didn't like it that much.The hotel is located directly on a street where people often accelerate, especially by motorcyclists.I had the feeling that the entire building needed to be tidied up because various personal items were lying around.The carpet in the stairwell also urgently needs replacing.The reception alone left a very untidy impression on me.The hotel is extremely noisy and the self-closing doors kept banging and disturbing my night's sleep until 2:30 at night.My room window faced the beer garden and it was quite loud down there for a long time, even with the window closed.A mini shower with a shower curtain on which some of the hangers were missing made it difficult for me to shower because the curtain constantly stuck to me.The bathroom door, as well as the very small bed, squeaked very loudly.The television only played public, legal channels.Breakfast is only available from 9:00 a.m., which was much too late for me on a business trip and I can't judge it accordingly.I ate three times in the evening in the hotel restaurant and was very satisfied.It was freshly prepared, appetizingly presented and the service staff was very friendly.

We were at an event there and it was well done.The tables in the hall were beautifully decorated but otherwise it unfortunately doesn't have that much flair. I think you could get a lot more out of it, but giving such a large room an atmospheric atmosphere is not easy.The food was very tasty and especially the potato gratin. The desserts were also great.The service initially seemed stressed but over the course of the evening I have to say I was really impressed because he was always there. Constantly kept an eye on the tables and cleared them, while taking orders and delivering them and was simply very friendly throughout the entire evening.There is also a nice area outside that invites you to linger.However, there are sometimes small corners that seem a bit sloppy where there are empty bottles and filled ashtrays that take away from the beautiful ambience outside.All in all we had a lovely evening.

Alarming experience - beware of this hotel!Unfortunately, I had an extremely disturbing experience at this hotel. The owner not only showed disrespectful behavior, but also a worrying tendency towards official presumption and dangerous traffic practices. His behavior as a traffic educator went far beyond the limits of what was reasonable and endangered not only me but also other road users.The hygiene in the hotel also left something to be desired as I was served dirty glasses, indicating a lack of cleanliness and care. Such practices are unacceptable and constitute a serious disruption to the stay.In addition, certain statements and actions by the owner have given me serious concerns about his political leanings. Although I approach such accusations with caution, certain behaviors leave an extremely unpleasant impression.Given these experiences, I unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel. I recommend that all potential guests carefully consider whether to book their stay here and hope that those responsible take measures to prevent such incidents.

Extremely aggressive hotel owner, acts as a village sheriff.Endangers other passers-by.Conducts traffic checks in front of your door and thereby endangers novice drivers.One could also describe the behavior as “presumptuousness of office”.Interferes in other people's affairs. And is probably “the King of Germany” no normal person should support something like that!!!I can highly recommend the Hotel and Restaurant Bismarckhöhe. There is no flashing there either.

Location on the edge of the A1 with its own speed camera in the parking lot 😉, rustic room, unfortunately no food because it's a closed day on Tuesdays, unfortunately no breakfast because there are no staff, unfortunately no card payment because the device is broken, it couldn't have gotten worse all at once. It's a shame, I'm sure things would go better otherwise.

We were here because of the Tecklenburg Festival and I think you have to take supply and demand into account when it comes to price.The single room was a nice size, but it was completely visible from the parking lot. A bit of privacy on the windows (besides the heavy curtains) would be nice. It should also be mentioned when booking that there are two steps in the room. This isn't for everyone either.The breakfast was good.
