My husband and I ate there because we were on vacation for a long time, so we thought we would give this restaurant a try because of the good reviews. We both had the same meal. My husband and I were both of the opinion that it tasted very cheap there and our meal cost 37 euros, but it didn't matter. I don't want to say much about the staff except that they noticeably let out their work stress on the guests. (I would say there are a few rude people) We actually just wanted to have a great evening, but we swore we wouldn't set foot there again. It's a shame that things got so bad after the takeover, we were there before and it was much nicer... Just cooking yourself tastes much better anyway... If you have to, go to Landhaus Südheide if you don't have the opportunity to cook

We ate in the new country inn and were very positively surprised.The rooms have been beautifully redesigned and invite you to stay.At first we were a bit surprised by the very clear menu in the restaurant.But the food was excellent.Super tasty and fresh.The price-performance ratio is also absolutely perfect.The takeover was worth it.

We were at the house for a family celebration.Completely covered lighting is installed at the entrance, otherwise the house is beautifully designed.The individual rooms make an excellent impression, are neatly furnished and clean.The service staff is polite and helpful.However, the food was remarkable. The menu was changed without consultation with the hosts. The quality was clear.Some of the meat was at the level of frozen food, the roast beef (approx. 2 cm thick) was fried to death.The hosts' wish to take any leftovers with them was only met to a limited extent.It's a shame that such a beautiful house cannot compensate for the location disadvantage with good quality.

Sequels can be good :)New tenant who creates a balance from a traditional house between the tried and tested on the one hand and (necessary) new things on the other.There is a lot to do - but it is being tackled. And the buffet, food and new interior turned out really well. Service level has been maintained at least.The hotel needs a lot of work, but if it turns out the way the 'core business' (gastro & events) does, it will once again be one of the really worthwhile addresses in good old Ammerland.I'm keeping my fingers crossed - not only the 'house' deserves it but also and above all the team that is there for its guests.Greetings from Cologne.

After many years, we wanted to give the country house another chance after it reopened after things hadn't gone so well in the last few years. Unfortunately we were bitterly disappointed again today. The garden is more than inviting on great summer days, but unfortunately just a good new look is not enough. The service was attentive and friendly, but you had to wait ages to be served. A conscious decision was made at the beginning for a very small and contemplative menu, but unfortunately 4 dishes were not convincing. Some of the pasta dishes were cold and a lot of them tasted like simple canned food. To charge prices like those of a classier city Italian restaurant is audacious. Everything here is made to be chic and new, but unfortunately there is nothing behind it. Here it is said: more appearance than reality.

Found another culinary highlight on our holiday tour...We were completely satisfied with the food on our first visit and became repeat offenders.. 😁 the menu is clear but there is something very tasty for everyone, and requests for the kitchen are also implemented without any problems!Great young new team...Keep it up and if we end up in the area again we will visit again...👍

Rather old-fashioned rooms but still very large, tidy and clean! The location of the hotel is perfect! There are plenty of lighting and sockets in the hotel room. There is a telephone and there are also some plants.
