Great location, historic building structure, nice owner. The two of us stayed in the guest house for a weekend and felt very comfortable in the room with a balcony and a view of the Weser. The beds were invitingly comfortable. The breakfast buffet was constantly refilled and drink requests were promptly fulfilled. The work was done cleanly.Okay, some renovations would be good for the house. But there was a lot of work going on in the garden. The tea kitchen on the ground floor including a fridge and an extra fridge with drinks is great! So the room price was okay for us. We went hiking during the day and only used the room to sleep. It always depends on the requirements...

Great service with simple rooms and a simple breakfast with an overall very reasonable price-performance ratio.I've been there twice and would love to come back.Family and bike friendly, great location!

Friendly hosts, nice atmosphere, great view from the balcony. That was several years ago. Unfortunately I can now only give 1 star. Accommodation is now run down, breakfast is inedible (not fresh). Too bad.

Centrally yet quietly located.It's clear that not every hipster will like the decor, as it's a bit older. I found this classic style particularly appealing. If you want more modern accommodation, you can pay three times the price in a hotel. I received a friendly welcome even though I arrived at very short notice. The room was simple but very quiet. There is a separate bicycle garage that is locked at night. You can take drinks from the fridge using the trust checkout. The breakfast was also OK. Hmm, what was there to complain about for the price? Nothing comes to mind. I'd love to come back.Many thanks to Mr. Arndt.

The house and guest house are in an extremely old condition, although they may have once been pretty in the 1970s. Everything is pretty run down and there is a huge restoration backlog. The rooms are poorly cleaned and it smells old and musty. The terrace and garden are nice with a view of the Weser and the town, but also unkempt. The breakfast is sufficient, but only standard and the furniture in the dining room has obviously had dust on it for a long time. There is an urgent need for improvement to meet the double room price. You wouldn't say anything for a price half as high, but the price-performance ratio here isn't right at all. Not recommended for a longer stay! The operator is not unfriendly, but a bit reserved.

The rooms are okay, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is new, everything is clean. It was nice that there was a kettle in the room and a refrigerator in the hallway that you could use for your things. The drinks that you could take from the bottom of the fridge are very reasonably priced. The bicycles are allowed to stay in the garage at night, which is locked from 9 p.m. I thought the price-performance ratio was great in contrast to the hotel and the breakfast was also good.

The room is really in a very very very old condition. The bathroom smells of urine and is also very run down. It was reasonably clean, the adjoining terrace and garden were nice, but we won't be coming back. Certainly ok for cyclists in transit.

We were there for one night, and that's all it takes. Yes, time stopped at 1980-1990. You can see the renovation and maintenance backlog. apartment clean; breakfast ok; beautiful view of the Weser. Outdoor facilities poorly maintained. The apartment downstairs next door doesn't work (permanent residents). Price?

Yes, you feel like you've been transported back to another time. The furnishings and the house are ancient, but with a direct view of the Weser. The owner is a bit strange, but if you ask him directly about something, he will answer. The room urgently needs to be renovated, and the price is very high for the condition of the room. Breakfast is okayYou can stay there for 1-2 nights, but in our opinion not for longer

We stayed there with a group of cyclists, very nice house, a bit old. Something could be done in some places. Reception and breakfast very good, bikes safely stored in the garage.

Cohesive guesthouse! Can't understand the negative reviews. For the little money you get a well-kept, clean room. Common sense should tell you that the house is not a completely renovated concrete bunker for €100 a night - if not, you can see from the photos.The water pressure in the shower is very good, with no temperature fluctuations.The location is also ideal!Well-kept, inexpensive accommodation for (cycling) travelers!

A very quiet location with a view of the beautiful Weser! Recommended Price-performance ratio is right in the white city in the green in the Weserbergland with good air in the border triangle of North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony and Hesse. In any case, the harbor at the Old Town Hall with its carillon is also a delight!

Great view, very large and cozy rooms with coffee/kettle, single bathroom (main building). There is a mini bar, everyone can help themselves. Always replenished. Breakfast simple but good. The landlord is very helpful, you just have to ask nicely. We were always happy to be able to check in later (8 p.m. instead of 6 p.m.) after calling ahead! :)

Great guesthouse with great service and a great location - right on the Weser at affordable prices. The rooms are very simple and a bit old, but that didn't bother me. We had a huge balcony with loungers and a wonderful view. The guesthouse is close to the city center and the Wesertherme. If you're looking for somewhere to stay overnight without a lot of fuss, with a great breakfast and a family atmosphere, you're in good hands here. I would stay there again at any time and can highly recommend it.

The house is located directly on the Weser, very centrally, but no renovation has been carried out for at least 30 years. The beds were good. However, we didn't feel that comfortable, it was ok for one night. The breakfast was fine, everything was there, from sweet to savory.
