Fränkischer Ferienhof Joas - Family Farm

Great farm for young and old. Great hosts and everything was very well maintained!

We spent another great week at the Joas holiday farm. We have been here for the third time now. We are always thrilled by the hospitable family, the beautiful and very well-equipped holiday homes and the many excursion options in the area. From the terrace of the holiday homes you have a great, unobstructed view of the countryside. In addition to pony rides and wagon rides, there is a communal barbecue evening and the children are always allowed to help out in the stable. Bread roll service as well as some regional products and a stocked drinks fridge are also among the amenities that we really appreciate. We also think the number of holiday homes/apartments is perfect, not too small and not too big. We would love to come back and have already booked.

As a couple of grandparents, we spent a week's vacation at the Joas holiday farm on the outskirts of Gerolfingen in a quiet location with our daughter and her family (1 child, 9th century). The farm with horses, ponnies, some cattle, pigs, goats, rabbits and cats gives children plenty of space to play, have fun and exercise on the farm's grounds, as well as in a play barn and in the inner courtyard between the holiday homes, which are arranged in a semicircle. There are sandpits, swings, a play area at the community center and many children's vehicles, as well as seats, loungers, etc. for parents/grandparents. Pony riding, feeding animals, helping with stable duty - there is the opportunity almost every day to get to know life on a farm with the hostess and her husband. The families can get to know each other at the beginning of the week at a barbecue evening together and activities such as a covered wagon ride are fun for parents and children! The holiday homes are well equipped, as the houses are offset, the terraces cannot be seen by the neighbors, so you can relax there. My favorite place was our south-west balcony with fragrant flowering bushes and a view of the greenery. The apartments were all very clean and if something was missing or wrong somewhere, the hostess was always willing to listen. There are clear house rules and quiet times, which we found very pleasant. You can relax on a bench away from the hustle and bustle of the farm with a small pond on the farm with a view of the farm's own riding hall. A bread roll service is offered at the Joas holiday farm, and you can get fresh eggs and drinks from a refrigerator in the communal house. The holiday farm is particularly suitable for families with children up to 12 years old, but older siblings can also pass the time with table football, billiards, etc. We really liked it and would like to take this opportunity to say a big “thank you” and we would be happy to recommend Ferienhof Joas.

Nice place for a family vacation. We booked one of the holiday homes and were very satisfied. The house was very well equipped.The offering on the farm was varied, children in particular get their money's worth here with a playground, pony riding and feeding the animals.The location is quiet and picturesque and ideal for hiking.

Great holiday farm with loving, warm care and relaxation for the whole family. There are some animals to pet and feed, carts, a trampoline, a play barn, billiards, table tennis, a place to play badminton, a sandpit. The holiday homes are clean and properly equipped. Towels and bed linen are available. There is also a bread roll service on Sundays.

We had a lovely holiday, unfortunately far too short.The hosts are very friendly and accommodating, the children had fun.

Great holiday farm with lots of possibilities: play barn, Kettcars, feeding animals, pond for fishing with pedal boats, horse riding, driving a tractor, billiards and a lounge/games room.We spent two great weeks.Our hosts have always come up with great things, from barbecue evenings to pumpkin carving to a ride in a horse-drawn carriage.Thank you very much for that, we would love to come back.Best regardsNancy and Christian from Berlin

The Joas holiday farm leaves absolutely nothing to be desired. My mother, my two sons (2 and 4) and I were able to spend a lovely week on the farm here.It starts with a sparkling clean, well-equipped holiday home in which we immediately felt very comfortable. During a welcome meeting you get to know the farm and the other guests on the first day and are given everything you need to know. If any questions still arise, the Joas family is always available to listen. We were able to enjoy vehicles for young and old, guided pony rides including cleaning the horses, a covered wagon ride and a barbecue evening together during our week and let our boys' hearts beat! You can help out in the stable every evening and the children had a lot of fun. We were lucky that there were numerous other families on the farm with us, so our kids always had someone to play with. The space in the holiday village, complete with trampoline, sandpit and wooden horses, invites you to do so. As adults, when the weather is bad or cold, it's great to meet up in the community house. This is particularly advantageous in the evenings if you are traveling with several children and staying in your own living room is more difficult, as the second bedroom is in the 4 holiday homes Amsel, Drossel, Fink and Star is an open gallery above the living-dining area.The holiday farm also has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine. From drinks, eggs, jam and honey to the delicious, uncomplicated and really inexpensive bread roll service, no wish remains unfulfilled.So our overall conclusion is really very good and we can only warmly recommend the holiday farm (this has already happened several times with friends, so be quick when booking :P)Thank you Joas family for the wonderful time with you!
