We were there for a birthday and, despite the cold and wet conditions, we were able to sit together in a large group around the fire, eat and chat.During the night there was a cloudburst, which I found to be particularly comfortable because I was already bundled up and lying in the trailer in the dry.All in all, a great way to stay close to nature!

A really nice change!The accommodation is beautifully located on the edge of the very rural town of Neuhaus. There are enough parking spaces and the trailers themselves are really nicely decorated. There is nothing missing for cooking and the gas stove and heating are described with instructions. Everything is also available for the campfire in the middle of the wagon castle. You can also book the sauna for an additional charge of €15. It is also possible to bring a dog in two trailers for a cleaning fee of €10. It is possible to reach those responsible by phone, both to ask organizational questions and to inquire about options for activities in the area. These are also described on information sheets and flyers, such as the zoo, which is less than a kilometer walk away. There are also very beautiful hiking routes from the Wagenburg. All in all, very nice!

We had a very nice stay in the Wagenburg Solling. The facility is perfect. A great and fully equipped barbecue area with dry firewood enabled us to have a perfect barbecue evening. The car was superbly equipped. And the service was also great. Questions were answered directly and everything was friendly and helpful. Everything here is lovingly made with a lot of heart. We look forward to the next visit.

We are absolutely positively surprised at what you can do with a construction trailer. This is definitely a great experience for all camping fans or outdoor enthusiasts!The facility is very beautiful and well maintained, the trailers have a certain luxurious interior, cooking, sleeping, toilet and shower, seating and much more. It's crazy what they've done with the approx. 20 m2. There's really nothing missing!The outdoor area offers a barbecue area, covered seating and a sauna.It takes about 10 minutes by car to get to the nearest supermarket to stock up for several days/nights. The wildlife park can also be reached in a few minutes and is definitely worth a visit.Booking is completely hassle-free via the website and access is contactless as you receive access codes.The owners are also occasionally on site, very sociable and nice person.Certainly not the last time for us (8 people). We really liked the concept and the kids didn't promise too little. So if you like camping a bit and don't want to miss out on a certain amount of “luxury”, this experience is ideal for you.

The Wagenburg Solling is really a beautiful place to relax!The trailer is practical and comfortably furnished and has everything you need. If required, breakfast and barbecue packages can be booked.A hiking trail begins directly adjacent to the site and leads, among other things, to the wildlife park, the adventure forest and other destinations. By car you can quickly reach the Fürstenberg Castle Museum or charming Höxter.The contact with the Wagenburg team is personal and warm - you feel very welcome as a guest!We wish the Wagenburg and the Solling adventure region many friendly guests and would be happy to come back!!!

We spent a great family weekend in the Wagenburg with children and grandchildren.The huts are beautifully furnished and everything is available, from barbecue tongs to instant coffee.An all-round carefree package with very friendly and always available support from Ms. Verwohlt.And then this great landscape in the Solling National Park with this magnificenttrees.We'll be back.

We had a wonderful weekend in the Wagenburg. I think the idea for the really beautiful huts is great, nothing was missing and the support was also very personal and great.The hikes were great, we took in all four seasons in one day, after which a visit to the beautiful barrel sauna was unavoidable.We really felt very comfortable, thank you very much for that.

It was the stop of our 1-week fairytale journey as family. We had an incredibly good time. dear Doreen and her sweet son Vincent made us feel at home. We stayed one night in our clean and pleasant room, surrounded by nature. We definitely recommend it, for sure will stay longer next time.

As a family with a dog, we spent three wonderful days in the Wagenburg. We had very nice neighbors, a hikeable environment, a fantastic starry sky, cozy campfires, and an enriching analogue time with lots of reading books. Everything we needed was there and the trailer was very tastefully decorated. Everything was topped off by the boss Doreen, who looked after her guests 24/7.

We rented the entire wagon castle for a weekend. The cars are well equipped, clean and the breakfast we booked was top notch. The area is ideal for hiking and then you can have a barbecue together. Just relax in nature, that's what the Wagenburg is made for. Update: we have been there 3 times now and have booked again for next year.

We spent a night in the Spechthöhle car. The car is very well furnished and we felt very comfortable. The weather cooperated too, so we were able to enjoy the sun 🌞 on the beautiful place! Again at any time!!!

Three days with a child in the Wagenburg were completely convincing. The circular arrangement means you automatically start talking to each other, and the grill/fire pit in the middle does the rest. The cars are super comfortable and well equipped. If you want to explore Solling you should definitely start from there; We moved within a 15km radius and there was always something to do, to marvel at, to discover.Nice conclusion: This year's summer concert, what a nice mini-festival feeling.In summary: Everything was great, nothing to be desired, definitely again.

We had a wonderful short vacation in Squirrel Kobel with our toddler and dog. The trailer is spacious and functionally furnished. The course is beautifully located and offers plenty of space to play. The Wagenburg team is very friendly and accommodating, and overall the Wagenburg is very family-friendly. Can only be recommended!

The two of us had a great stay in the Wagenburg. We stayed in the “Woodpeckerhöhle” for an overnight stay. The contact with Ms. Verwohlt when booking was very warm and uncomplicated.On the day of arrival, checking in using a PIN code was easy. We received the code by email the day before arrival. The car was as described on the homepage, equipped with everything you needed for your stay. The refrigerator was already running, so we could immediately cool the food and drinks we had brought with us. TOP! The car was absolutely clean, the beds were made and there were enough towels available. Even dishwashing liquid has been thought of. The cars are equipped with enough sockets to charge smartphones etc.We liked the location of the Wagenburg. We were able to start straight away on an extensive mountain bike tour in Solling.The way into town is also quite short, you can get the essentials. There are a small number of restaurants in town where you can get coffee and cake or food.Finally, I would like to say something about on-site support.In the evening Ms. Verwohlt came by and asked if everything was okay. She took a lot of time for us and we had a nice, friendly and personal conversation. I also received lots of good cycling and hiking tips for Solling.We definitely weren't in the Wagenburg for the last time!Without exception, we can recommend the Wagenburg for people who like to be in nature and just want to unwind.A special thank you goes to Ms. Verwohlt for the good care. You can tell that looking after the guests at the Wagenburg and the beautiful Solling is a matter close to the heart for Ms. Verwolt.

Nicely done. The cars are very well insulated and heated. All installations have been laid. Everything perfect with sauna on the hill. Unfortunately it has little flair. But comfort. A wagon castle for pensioners or families. Not for nature lovers or adventurers. Unfortunately located in town. There is more than enough nature around it.
