We had booked a hiking package. We arrived on Friday, had a wonderful meal in the evening and used the cinema and then took part in the guided hike on the forest sculpture trail on Saturday. We gained a lot of new views and insights and met great people. In the evening we enjoyed an excellent 3-course menu together. Our room was also perfect and left nothing to be desired, as did the perfect and friendly service. All around a great offer! We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful modern and super clean hotel in a small picturesque village.We slept wonderfully and were able to watch a movie before going to sleep that was projected onto the wall using a projector.The staff is super nice. Our questions were answered kindly. The breakfast is delicious and is neatly and hygienically arranged. Cheese and meats are ready on a stand on the table. There is also a menu with egg dishes that you can order of your choice. Really great!If we go to Sauerland again we would definitely stay here again.

So much in advance, if I need a room again, it will definitely be the Capitol again!!!!!!!I knew the Capitol from my childhood and was surprised at what they had made of it.I have never seen a cinema with a restaurant and a hotel in this configuration before.The reservation went smoothly and the booking confirmation also came immediately.We checked in online and that went great too.The hotel doesn't have many rooms, so it's not a castle.There is an unmistakable cinema atmosphere in the entrance area. The typical red carpet from where you go to the cinema on the left.Even in the hallway you can immediately see the connection to the cinema. There are photos of actors hanging on the walls and here too is the red carpet that leads to the rooms. These don't have numbers, but names. How did we sleep? B. At Quantin Tarantino, opposite was Sylvester Stallone.The rooms are very modern. Touch sensors on each side of the bed, for roller shutters and lighting. The bathroom has a rain shower and a decent hairdryer. Not those plastic parts with the spiral cable. There is also a frosted glass wall to the bedroom.At first I found them stylish and nice, but only until someone had to go to the bathroom at night. Then you get the full load of light into your face.You won't find a television here. Instead, in keeping with the concept, the rooms have a projector.We had booked with breakfast. The service is very friendly and attentive.The small buffet has a selection of rolls, croissants, sweet spreads, fresh fruit and muesli.A cake stand with cheese sausage and mixed pickles is brought to the table and fried eggs and scrambled eggs etc. are freshly prepared upon request. There is a small card on the table for this purpose.For us this was one of the best hotels we have ever booked.A great concept, with great service.We recommend it 100% and would be happy to come back.

The restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere both outside and inside. The food also tastes very good and the service is also very friendly and attentive.The cinema hall is very small compared to the "old" Capitol, but beautiful. The ticket prices are also good. I haven't stayed at the hotel yet and can't say anything about the rooms.

The junior suite as well as the other rooms have no air conditioning - that's what we said on a very warm evening, all rooms are under the roof.On the day of departure, we were told when we checked out that they didn't tell every guest that the temperature could be regulated centrally downwards...then thank you in advance for this experienced appreciation that gave us sleepless nights!Furthermore, a large Romanian family grunted loudly and bossed the staff around in the breakfast room, so we were able to get a table set outside the usual breakfast room. For 300€ for 2 people for 2 nights that was very difficult to bear.
