The house is very historic and has always been lovingly maintained over the years. For me as a building contractor, it’s a journey through time.Particularly noteworthy is the well discovered 3 years ago, which is around 500 years old. The hospitality and the food offered were great and flawless. The rooms are clean and comfortably furnished. However, we couldn't sleep until 2 a.m. because the dog was constantly barking and the other guesthouse guests were turning night into day. In addition, our credit card was not accepted and we had to use other means of payment. This conversation was conducted with the lady of the house and the tone was not appropriate for our circumstances.

We stayed there for two nights, the service is great, the location is totally quiet and perfect for relaxing.Nice apartment and the food was really delicious.Perfect for families.

We have always wanted to live in a treehouse. I surprised my husband with this for our golden wedding anniversary.We felt very, very comfortable in this comfortable tree house.We were treated to breakfast and a very good dinner by the Greitemann family.We will come back in any case.

We stayed in the tree house, ate excellent food in the restaurant on all days of our stay, thanks to a creative young chef, experienced an extremely warm atmosphere and hospitality and can only say - thank you very much and we will be back. Marion and Wolfgang

June 2024: and again we were guests of the Greitemann family and again 6 people were more than satisfied with the friendly welcome, the parking spaces for the motorcycles, the very friendly staff, the very clean rooms including very comfortable beds! The food was again fresh, prepared with a lot of love and the best ingredients at a very high level! So there is still traditional German cuisine that the young chef and his team know how to present very well!!! The breakfast was also delicious and very filling, including a choice of freshly prepared boiled eggs, scrambled eggs or fried eggs! We felt very comfortable and look forward to seeing you again. Thanks to the Greitemann family and the entire team!Autumn 2019: We were guests this weekend with the family (8 people). The welcome was very warm. Our rooms were all very nice, very clean and comfortable, nothing was missing. The house and the guest rooms are decorated and furnished with a lot of love. The good spirit of a long inn tradition blows here with a lot of friendly devotion to the guests. We enjoyed lunch and dinner a la carte and the breakfast buffet at the weekend. The cuisine is simply amazing: traditional dishes like from mothers, fresh products from the area, freshly prepared. Whether it was kale with Mettwurst, broad beans, cabbage rolls, goose breast, venison leg, pancakes or rump steak, it was the finest and hearty and tasty. The roulade, for example, with cucumber, onion, bacon and a subtle note of mustard, brings back memories of grandmother's times. The red cabbage with the tender goose breast was homemade and, just like in a textbook, the baked apple was a poem. Broad beans with creme fraiche and savory, plenty of lard, to cluck your tongue. We were thrilled with the food as well as the very friendly and attentive staff and the overall atmosphere. The breakfast buffet also left nothing to be desired. No packaged ingredients but everything freshly served, fresh rolls from the Sunday bakery opposite, sausage from the butcher, fresh scrambled eggs, jams, juice etc. etc.Conclusion: we would like to come back, because here the guest is still king and the price/performance ratio is absolutely right!
