We were guests for a week, it was in a beautiful, very quiet location, the hosts were super nice and everything that was prepared in the kitchen tasted really good and if only the homemade whipped cream on the sundae was everything it was made with love and dedication. Keep going So we'll see each other again 100%!!!

Recommendation! In an inviting and pleasantly quiet location, the "Gasthaus Töpferschmiede" has been operating as a guesthouse since 2021. House guests can choose between half board or à la carte in the guest room in the evening. And you can start a new day with a delicious breakfast buffet.

If you look from the Klausenbach Viaduct into the valley in the direction of individual houses, you can easily see the beautiful “Effelschmiede” inn standing there. On the right side a path leads directly to the place in question. We stayed there for 7 nights as holiday guests. From the very beginning we were looked after with warmth at all times. Already at breakfast it became clear that it tastes wonderful here. But the delicious dinner offered us even greater refinements. We slept very well in the beautiful night quarters. We wanted to explore the area on many laps using e-bikes. But on the third day there was a fall, my knee was injured, and the joy was short-lived. No longer thinking about bike tours, but still not wasting time, we visited the destinations by car, like many people do. It wasn't possible without running, even if only slowly and carefully. Mr. Helmle saw it and helped immediately, lending us a hiking stick on site. So we were still able to continue exploring the beauty of the landscape for many hours. If you get so much help, then this is worth 5 big stars. We really felt very comfortable and were deeply touched by so much care. And if we visit the area again, we would only book the "Spoonsmiths". Thank you very much, all the best and continued happiness, we will be happy to return to you.

The one star refers to the inn, which has been closed since 11/2021, despite constant signs pointing there.Catering for guest guests only. ☹️

The one star refers exclusively to the fact that there are signs along the hiking and cycling paths from the “Gasthaus” Töpferschmiede, but the guesthouse is only catered for as a guest! No stop for hikers and cyclists... 😮💨 It's probably only been like this since 11/21, but in half a year you could have turned it into a "guesthouse" into a "pension", especially since the house is about 500m away from the Because of lies.

After a very long day of hiking, I received a very warm and uncomplicated welcome. I was served the best wild garlic and cheese schnitzel I have ever eaten. I slept fantastically and after a delicious breakfast including provisions, we set off well through the Wutach Gorge.Thank you

The Pension Eierschmiede is located on the side of the road between Lenzkirch and Bonndorf by a stream. We stayed for two nights, the house is a bit old and has the charm of the good old 80s. We really liked it, especially since everything was very clean and well maintained. Our room was on the second floor and was reached via two fairly steep flights of stairs. The sloping ceilings give the room a very cozy charm, the bathroom was big enough for us and nothing was missing. We had a view of the forest and the stream below. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very friendly and open-minded. In the evening we had the pleasure of being able to eat as guesthouse guests, the menu was very good and the food was very tasty. The host cooks himself and, after 45 years of work, has decided to open the restaurant only to boarders. Unfortunately, successors for the pension cannot be found. We think that's a shame, it would be nice if the lovingly run guesthouse would also have guests in the future. Thank you very much, we felt very comfortable.
