Beautiful, almost 300-year-old farmhouse, which, fortunately for us, now serves as a guesthouse/guesthouse. I found the room very spacious. Bed is 2 by 2 meters. Large flat screen TV. Spacious wardrobe. The windowless bathroom with shower is also sufficiently large and equipped with a good timer fan. Table with 2 chairs, so you don't always have to rely on restaurants. There is an anteroom to the room with a small equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, coffee machine and toaster. With the 2 plates you can conjure up little things yourself, or have the very friendly, helpful landlady, Ms. Tritschler, prepare you a small, warm snack in the evening after arrangement. The room and the dining room were 1a clean. Old but in style it fits the house and fits well and is very well maintained.The landlady responds to your wishes and asks about them and is available to offer valuable excursion tips as part of a casual conversation. Thanks for the tip about visiting the old town of Schaffhausen, which we explored for our pleasure after visiting the Rhine Falls.The location of the guesthouse is ideal for hiking or cycling tours. At night it is very quiet and dark. Nothing can disturb your sleep. There is well-functioning WiFi in the house, which is switched off at night out of concern for health. I think this is good and sensible. Likewise, there are no annoying calls on the cell phone from the boss or similar non-persons who want to disturb the desired peace and quiet, because fortunately there is no mobile radio here in town.A really quiet, healthy place here on earth. There is sufficient parking space directly at the house. Animals graze in the surrounding areas and every now and then you can hear the cowbells or in the evening you come across the dangerous 😂 village cats on their everyday foray...

If you want to switch off for a while, this is the right place for you. A piece of true home.You don't need internet here. Just enjoy nature.The hostess is very friendly, helpful and concerned and of course a bit curious, but that doesn't bother you.The entire property is neatly maintained and clean.

On a spur of the moment I contacted the inn's website the day before my arrival and was given a very nice room. The landlady is very accommodating and very nice. The breakfast is very good and plentiful.The place is very quiet in the middle of nature. The hiking locations can be reached in a short time by car. All in all, I was able to spend a few wonderful days hiking.Many thanks to the hosts and God willing we will see each other again.

From the first contact to the departure, the hostess was always friendly and helpful. Very extensive breakfast and more if requested. Our room was very nice and met expectations for the price category. Add to that wonderful weather and perfectly signposted hiking trails, what more could a relaxing holiday need? Thank you very much!!! We will definitely come back again.

Okay in itself, but no towels were exchanged, for example. Not even after 4 days and the owner is quite curious. And it happened several times that she came into the room during dinner.In addition, the already very slow internet was switched off every day at 10 p.m.

A hiking break is a must! Simply because you were greeted nicely here. A small snack and of course a chilled Zäpfle with pleasant conversation and we continued... Conclusion: Gladly again!
