Gerbrand and Jitty Bruijn run this quietly located house with a lot of love.We felt very comfortable.It was almost family-like and we also had lovely evenings with the other guests.A great breakfast and, if you wish, you can also have dinner.Even a barbecue evening was organized during our stay.Absolutely recommended.We say:Thank youRenate and Holger

I was here with my husband for a few days break....A wonderful and quiet place to relax and unwind.We had a nice spacious room... with a small living room... a bathroom and balcony. Everything very clean and comfortable.There was a rich breakfast with everything your heart could desire.Last but not least, the super nice and friendly landlords should be mentioned. They do everything to make you feel comfortable and nothing is missing.Parking spaces are at the house.For dinner you go to the surrounding restaurants or let Jitty surprise you with a delicious meal.You have to order dinner in advance at breakfast.All in all a wonderful stay... we will definitely be back.

The house is a bit remote in the forest - but just the right place for us to relax and unwind from everyday life.The hosts are both very, very friendly people and are happy to give tips about the Black Forest.Very lovingly furnished rooms, the gardens are very beautiful and very playful, just the right place to have a drink when you go to bed in the evening.The breakfast buffet was very good and sufficient for a good start to the day.Beautiful hiking/biking trails available. Quickly at Schluchsee, shopping opportunities available in the next larger village.We would book a room there again at any time.

I spent 9 wonderful days of motorcycling vacation there.The room was clean and the breakfast was above average. Absolutely recommended for the price 🥰, what more could a biker want than showering, sleeping, having breakfast and getting on the bike and enjoying the Black Forest. The nice host family Bruijn warmly welcomed me and gave me tips for sights even though they weren't bikers themselves.👍🏻There is a very well-stocked refrigerator in the hallway for an after-work beer after the tour🍺 and there is plenty of space in the beautifully landscaped garden or under the canopy to enjoy the peace and quiet.🧘♀️🧘Dinner on request.Detours to Switzerland, which can be reached in 20 minutes, are easily possible.🇨🇭The proximity to Schluchsee, which can be reached in 12 minutes on foot, is also great 🏊🩲🐟.Below are a few impressions 🥰LG

The house is a bit remote on the mountain but it was great for us. If you want to relax and unwind, the location was perfect for us personally. You can start hiking straight away and reach the Schluchsee through beautiful, quiet passages. Thanks again to the very friendly hosts. We would definitely come back. Unfortunately, we cannot say what it looks like in the high season. But it will definitely be busier there.

What a wonderful place to spend your holiday! The welcome was very warm! We had rented an en-suite room. The bed was good, pitch black and dead quiet at night! The breakfast was buffet style, with tasty sandwiches, all kinds of fillings, yoghurt, boiled or fried eggs, the choice was huge! Also ate there twice in the evening. Delicious and tasty! The surroundings are beautiful! There is plenty to do, and you can take beautiful walks. If you like peace and nature, Haus Sonneck is highly recommended!

Very nice B&B with very nice owners. It is a bit remote, which makes eating out within walking distance a bit difficult, but this is more than compensated for by the food and/or BBQ on offer.A nice place for a very good price.

A super nice guesthouse with incredibly friendly, accommodating hosts. The rooms are newly renovated. The breakfast buffet also left nothing to be desired. The day before you could individually enter in a list which types of bread rolls you wanted. Only the parking spaces were a bit tight at times.If you have the opportunity to have dinner at the accommodation, definitely take up the offer. The dishes were cooked with a lot of love and tasted excellent, better than many restaurants on Schluchsee.We had a great time and will remember this vacation for a long time.

We liked everything. A rich breakfast is offered, large selection, but unfortunately only a few poultry sausages. You can order the rolls the day before, there were 4-5 types to choose from + croissants. A few types of cheese, sausage and pate (including poultry), ojuice and multi, the coffee was also delicious.Dinner is prepared according to your wishes, you can choose whatever you want (meat, fish, etc.). But the same thing is cooked for everyone. So, we agree. We also enjoyed the food.The house is at the end of the street on the mountain. There is a parking space out front for about 6 cars (according to number of rooms, I think).900 m down the street we found a small restaurant where you can eat until 9 p.m. The selection isn't big, but you can find something like tarte flambée and schnitzel 100% of the time.There are many restaurants in the city center, but they are a bit far away, about 1.5 hours on foot if you want to walk.The bus connection on the WE is relatively bad. Tim and I quickly looked for accommodation and were lucky that there was a room available in Haus Sonneck. The rooms are very clean and furnished with love. The hosts are very friendly and very helpful. If you have questions about the area or just want to have a fun conversation, Jitty and Gerbrand are very accommodating. There is a large dining room with a fireplace and a sauna. The sauna is also very lovingly made, with hand-made mosaic, fantastic.Tim and I had a wonderful time and recommend everyone to stop by as the surroundings are also fantastic. :-)
