The Spitz family is super nice and hospitable! We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.The apartment we stayed in is very comfortably furnished.The location of the farm is pleasantly quiet.

We had a very nice vacation there! A great, large apartment. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Everything was very clean and very nicely decorated. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back!

We have been coming here for 5 years now, the Weihermattenhof is a must every year. Ms. and Mr. Spitz are very hospitable and always help, no matter what problem you have. Our son also feels very comfortable here because of the playground and the quiet environment. The holiday apartments are all well-equipped and all have a balcony. We love this quiet location to relax

That was a very nice vacation! Thank you very much, dear Spitz family, for the great hospitality.We will be back!The farm is beautifully situated at approx.1000m above sea levelBetween meadows and forests.The rooms that are available for rent are very clean and very well furnished, everything you need as a family is there.It's a stone's throw from Schonach and Trieberg by car, where all kinds of shopping and refreshments are available.There are cows, goats, cats, rabbits.The highlight for the children was of course the animals, which are all very sociable and don't shy away from contact with strangers!The children were allowed to help get the cows and calves from the pasture, feed them and clean the stable. These were lasting impressions for our little ones! Thanks alot!!!What should also be mentioned is that the Schonach natural swimming pool is located approx. 100m from the farm. Entry is free, everything is clean and pleasant there with a volleyball field, playground and kiosk!

The Spitz family's farm is a place to feel good and offers a very good price-performance ratio. We felt very comfortable and in good hands there. If you want, you can be provided with fresh raw milk from the farm's own cows. You can also order eggs (not from the farm? At least I didn't see any chickens ;)). Ms. Spitz also helped us when our son had a little accident on a winding car ride - thank you very much.There are milk cows, cats, if you're lucky, baby cats, 3 goats and 2 rabbits. Also a sandpit, swings and a slide. All of this was enough to keep our son entertained (2 years old). It takes 3 minutes to get to the town by car (over a small mountain) and you can buy fresh bread rolls in the morning.We stayed in the “Seeblick” apartment and felt comfortable there. The small kitchen offers the essentials for small dishes.We can recommend the farm.Kind regards to the whole Spitz family!

We stayed on the farm for almost 2 weeks in August 2021 and felt very comfortable.Ms. Spitz was always very helpful and informative.The farm is located above Schonach with a view of the natural outdoor swimming pool, which is within walking distance.The equipment in the holiday apartment is very good.We return home feeling refreshed.

We were in the Black Forest for a week and wanted to take a break. The Weihermattenhof caught our eye straight away. Way up on the edge of the forest with a wonderful view. Ms. Spitz was a great host and fulfilled our every wish. In short, we will definitely come back again and can only recommend everyone to spend a few days there.

We lived in the “Schwarzwaldmädle” holiday apartment. It is equipped with newly renovated, beautiful bathrooms and has a very comfortable sofa seating area and also a pretty and open kitchen. We felt very comfortable as a family and were able to start many excursions from here. Many walks can also be started from the accommodation. The natural swimming pool can be reached on foot in just a few minutes.We were able to admire the Blindensee and the Elz Falls nearby - highly recommended. The summer toboggan run in Gutach was easy to reach in 30 minutes and was great fun for our children.Our children also loved the cows, cats and kittens, goats and rabbits. The contact with the Spitz family was excellent, despite the restrictions caused by Corona. A big thank you for the wonderful time with you!

The family is very nice, all 3 balconies have a wonderful view. You can walk down into town and have breakfast there. It's quiet and cozy.

A stay at the Weihermattenhof is a holiday with friends!Gertrud and Herbert Spitz have been exemplary hosts for us for more than 20 visits over the last 14 years.The location of the Weihermattenhof invites every hiking enthusiast to leave the car behind and explore the place and nature “on a shoestring”.
