We spent a week on the farm meadow.It was excellent, exactly what we were looking for - a combination of farm holiday and camping. The children had a lot of fun feeding the animals, petting them, riding horses and playing around. There was something to discover on every corner.The children fell asleep by the campfire and woke up with hay in their hair and were overjoyed. A small but well-stocked farm shop with its own products was always accessible and sanitary facilities were absolutely sufficient. We found the hosts to be very friendly and committed. You shouldn't forget that you really have to be born for it. Most of the year there are guests around the hosts' private home and not every guest is pleasant ;) so we are happy to come back and can only recommend the incredibly warm farm. Not to forget, active long-term farming is practiced here and so you can absolutely smell of chickens, pigs, cows or other livestock, that's part of it and the children have a lot to marvel at. Thumbs up!

Located in a quiet side valley of the Black Forest, a little away from the tourist crowds, this farm is my home. There is plenty of space here to relax and the children can be children here. Playground, swimming pond, forest, animals, a farm shop, everything is available. Campers, whether tents, caravans or motorhomes, are also taken care of. Showers, toilets and electricity are available. There is also a small fishing pond, and there are also saunas to rent or some directly next to the chalet or tents. Bernd and Barbara, together with their children and a team of employees, are warm and helpful hosts who have realized themselves here.

We had a wonderful short vacation in the chalet “Kuckuksbeere”. Very loving and high-quality accommodation in which everything was thought of, especially for our daughter (1.5 years). (Bed, chair, changing facilities, dishes, toys...) With its own sauna, super comfortable beds, fireplace, fully automatic coffee machine, large terrace and kettle grill. The chalets are still brand new, little things are still missing here and there and the outdoor area is still being spruced up, but none of that has taken away from the beautiful accommodation. Bernd and Barbara were very kind and warm hosts. Feeding the animals in the morning was a lot of fun for the little ones and you shouldn't miss the pizza from the farm's own bakery. A beautiful farm for children and adults, which is also in a great location for planning various excursions. In the farm shop you can get lots of delicacies from our own production and you can also stock up on other things here. Highly recommended: the raw milk from the neighboring farmers. We were completely satisfied and were certainly not there for the last time. Thank you dear ones and best wishes from Pia to “Jäk”, “Runa”, “Mann” and “Baba”.

We have rarely experienced such warm, open hosts and had such a lovingly furnished, clean and simply very cozy holiday apartment - not to mention all the "cute" farm residents, who we immediately took to our hearts... We had a wonderful time with friends. Weekend with natural wellness and a mega horse ride and it definitely wasn't the last time we were at the Hilserhof! Warmest recommendation for all nature lovers and a sense of that certain something!

We had booked a camping pitch in nature...Even booking 2 families at the same time with different prices was difficultParking space in the middle of the muddy meadow, 1 toilet for 5 parking spaces and all farm guests, family shower with shower times that do not expireFlushing option in the garage, where the water comes out of the wall when drainingMeat from our own slaughter is sold out on the second day - it's better to have something with you in case of emergencyGrill tray stands between the agricultural implements1 cable drum for 5 spaces, which bangs regularlyThe approach is great...There is still a lot of room for improvement - cleanliness everywhere should be given more priority (a jacket that has been lying on the street for 3 days and is driven past by the courtiers several times a day)Over €30 for one night is just way too much

We had a very nice stay and were “premiere guests” in the chic wooden chalet Kuckucksbeere. The farm is in a very idyllic location and the many animals are a highlight for children. There are also many great excursion destinations for families in the surrounding area. All in all very recommendable!!

Absolute recommendation!!! We had one of the best holidays here in years. The farm is beautifully situated, the tents are lovingly furnished and very comfortable. Our children (8 and 6 years old) were out on the farm with other children all day and actually only came over to eat. For the children it was a real farm experience with feeding animals, jumping in the hay and exploring every corner of the area. They were even allowed to help drive a herd of cows to another pasture and were really proud of it. My husband and I had more peace and time together than we have in years. Life in the tent with making a fire and cooking on the wood stove is also wonderfully slowed down. Absolute relaxation from everyday stress. The farm owners are incredibly nice, warm and refreshingly relaxed, so you hardly feel like a tourist but more like a guest of good friends. Our whole family was very sad when the good time here was over, but one thing is already certain for us: we will come back next year! :-)

We stayed in a holiday apartment at the Hilserhof for the second year in a row. We really enjoy our time here. The children's program is great, the apartment is well equipped, the selection of products in the farm shop is varied and the family is very welcoming. Thank you for that! We'll be back next year!

We had booked two meadow beds and were very excited at the beginning! Unfortunately, this was marred by an extremely high climb to the tents (three-year-olds can't do it alone), a very long walk to the farm shop and playground, broken toys lying around everywhere, a dirty meadow bed (there were old clothes behind the sofa, Books and food), by unfriendly older residents of the inn (there was a lot of cursing in front of children because a ketcar was in the way - on the playground), water in the shower could only be set extremely cold or scalding hot. The children are only allowed to feed the animals on Saturdays (doesn't make sense since animals are fed every day), rolls are only available on Saturdays and Tuesdays and the pizza evening only takes place on Wednesdays - so not for weekend vacationers.All in all, we hoped for more because we already know other meadow beds and the children there were treated with much more friendliness, cleanliness and closeness.
