An indescribable experience, taste experience with every course. The service is very friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Ms. Steiner comes to every table and greets and says goodbye to the guests.The team spirit is very nice, everyone is friendly and attentive. We felt very comfortable and really enjoyed this wonderful evening.

A wonderful, warm and familiar atmosphere that invites you to enjoy. The menu in the evening with an aperitif in advance in the courtyard is of course the highlight! We were particularly impressed by the attentive and friendly nature of each team member. We spent three days there. After a cozy and delicious breakfast, the region is ideal for beautiful walks and hikes through the Black Forest. We also took a trip to Alsace. Colmar is less than 45 minutes away by car. We were thrilled and would love to come back.

The hotel:We arrived early, at the best time to eat, and there was foie gras with delicious sweet wine.The room under the roof was spacious, the goodies served bridged the hunger until the finale😎😎The restaurant :Very cozy, very familiar (the maitres are present in three generations)The menu has its price 💶💶💶 but there is something on offer 👍👍 the breakfast is sensational served by the boss herself 🥰Parking: in front of the door, my mobile friend also felt comfortable.Conclusion: a return is on the calendar

Food at the highest level, unfortunately you won't get full. The price is therefore completely exaggerated. Two people spend €750 and are not full at the end. a glass of wine, 0.1 €25. The vegetarian menu costs the same as the meat menu. Apparently success seems to be overwhelming and people think they can charge any price. But then you also have to deliver. Overall, it can be said that it was actually only greetings from the kitchen.Ms. Steiner is of the opinion that the work for such menus must be paid for. I can still understand that, but the customer also has to work for it and should at least be fed. And why does a glass of wine have to cost €25? That has nothing to do with the chef's work. Here they are obviously simply taking advantage of their fame to get as much money as possible.My wife hadn't eaten anything all day in anticipation and at ten in the evening she was still hungry after the menu. First I had to use the fridge at home. The service was also mediocre. You didn't say goodbye, you had to get your jacket yourself and then leave the room. Of course, that's not possible in a restaurant like this that charges such prices.Overall it was extremely disappointing. We'd rather stick with one star, for example Merkles Restaurant, where the quality of the food is certainly not worse, but you'll be full at a reasonable price.

Of course we ordered the Menu Douce. The food was excellent and more than worthy of the ⭐️⭐️! Price/performance top. We cannot understand the isolated comments that the quantities are too small. I only find the price of the wine accompaniment to be a little high. The service was very attentive and very accommodating. And I would particularly like to highlight the breakfast… special!

What an evening! It was not without reason that we had been looking forward to it days beforehand. We were welcomed warmly and at the same time in a familiar way at the Hirschen. Of course we decided on the complete menu with wine accompaniment. Our boss took our order personally, so of course you feel flattered. And thanks to my certain aversion to fish, I promptly received a suggestion as to how this course could be replaced. I gratefully accepted and of course I wasn't disappointed with the vegetarian surprise course. We were looked after in a highly professional, yet never stiff and extremely friendly manner. From course to course we were amazed at the delicate design of the dishes, the wonderful and unique scent that wafted discreetly into our noses and of course the finely balanced flavor notes that hit the palate. So I put table manners aside to grab the last crumb or drop of the food. I certainly won't forget the smell of fresh tarragon, that serving of beetroot, the basil leaf in exactly the right place (visually and taste-wise) and the aroma of the green apple jus. Yes, our earth actually has such wonderful things in store for us; It just takes a Douce Steiner to make it perceptible for us. The wines chosen to accompany it also went wonderfully well and we, who come from the area, were amazed at the treasures our local winemakers produce. We had a perfect evening, which ended with the conclusion: We'll be back!
