We went there together for a long weekend on the recommendation of our in-laws, who are already regular guests there.In our opinion the rooms had everything you needed and were clean.Free WiFi throughout the building and parking spaces for guests.Ms. Ortlieb looked after and served us very well. Our daughters (2½ & 6 years old) were also very enthusiastic about it.Mr. Ortlieb is a wonderful chef who really puts his heart and soul into the kitchen. Every dish was truly a poem.I think we'll come back as soon as we can.

We had our first accommodation here on our Moselle bike tour from Freiburg to Trier and we were more than satisfied. As soon as we arrived, the hostess asked us to give us a freshly tapped beer. We were able to park the e-bikes safely in a lockable shed. The room was absolutely fine for an overnight stay. At dinner the landlady recommended the menu especially for overnight guests and that was an excellent recommendation, and the breakfast the next morning was also very good.

Absolutely excellent food. You can't go wrong at this inn. There is a small menu, but the things we ate from it were very good. We had goose with red cabbage and dumplings as well as chestnuts and baked apple. Everything was super tasty. The red cabbage was fresh, homemade. The service was super attentive and very nice. All in all a very good recommendation.

Good location within walking distance of the old town. Very nice, traditional, good and generous breakfast, which was prepared and served (no buffet). Everything, including the attached restaurant, is organic. A comparable price would be 10 to 15% lower.

Update 02.2023Celebrated my 75th birthday here with family and friends.Absolutely successful and everyone was thrilled. *****Plus 👍...I have been a guest for many years and have always been very satisfied.What I particularly appreciate is that everything is organic, i.e. without chemicals!

We were there today for a birthday dinner with a menu and it was wonderful. Super fine roast beef with spaetzle, red cabbage and much more. Very cozy. We felt very comfortable.

It is a lovely hotel with a beautiful garden, excellent breakfast, excellent cuisine from breakfast to dinner in the best regional/organic quality, very cozy rooms and in a best location. Various very beautiful hiking trails start right behind the house - 100m -, a very nice outdoor swimming pool can be reached in 3 minutes on foot and the old town can also be reached on foot in a few minutes.
