Good dayWe visited on October 3rd. 2024 in the afternoon the Cafe in the Adler. The Black Forest cake pieces were huge. They tasted excellent.Unfortunately I just managed to eat half and asked to take the other half with me.I was informed by Ms. I.E. that this would cost an extra 1 euro in paper costs. When I asked her in surprise why that was the case, because I had never experienced it before, she replied that it was now common in Triberg. I paid (inwardly shaking my head), and also gave a tip since the service was OK - but I'll bring a Tupperware container with me next time I'm there! By the way, the bill said 1 euro for “various hot drinks”... not the cardboard/paper costs.

Were there for one night with child and dog.Hotel is dog friendly.Room was large with TV, tea bar, safe, couch armchair. Toilet was clean and modern.It's on the main road but it's quiet at night as there's hardly any traffic.

We stayed one night in the family room and it was very nice. It was still warm but they had a standing fan in the room which was great. There were also plugs right under the TV so we could plug in our personal Firestick with ease.They give you a free parking pass with an assigned spot in a covered garage but we originally parked in an EasyPark place just up the road before we knew that. The parking isn't far but it's not attached to the hotel. The hotel itself was quiet but the room was off the mainstreet so the motorcycles were noisy at times. The staff was very friendly and I would stay here again.

The café is very nice, you should make sure you don't come too late as you won't have much choice.They have a great selection of cakes.Some cakes are also vegan and gluten-free.The café is very nicely decorated and you can also sit outside. Very pleasant and the sellers are very nice and accommodating.

The Service was really bad, we ordered 4 cakes, there was an old lady who seemed really disrespectful and rude, she rolled her eyes towards us several times without any reason. The cakes were bland and not even close to other restaurants. The lady even got one of our orders wrong without saying sorry when we confronted her, really disappointed. The other staff were nice but this one was discriminatory towards us.

We were looking for a Black Forest cake and ended up in this cafe.At the beginning you order directly at the counter and the cake is brought to your table shortly afterwards, only then can you order your coffee, that's the only thing that bothered us here, it would be nicer to get both at the same time.The pieces of cake are definitely larger than normal, so the prices are really reasonable, especially in such a tourist area. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the cake and coffee.

Went spontaneously to the cafe today. We really wanted to eat the Black Forest cake. A bit unusual that you first order your cake and then look for a seat, but that didn't bother you. The cake looked handmade and was really tasty. Absolutely recommended.Unfortunately, we haven't had any good experiences with the restaurant so far. We were therefore very happy about the nice service there.

It looks good from the outside, but the quality and service are not in line with the site. We have ordered a tea with ice that they have on the menu in a photograph and they bring us a kind of Nestea in a bottle and without ice because they don't have any. The cakes leave a lot to be desired... I don't recommend it

Whether it's checking in or ordering cakes, the boss's face is super stinky and she is also very impatient 🙄 But when the Germans in front and behind us order, the boss's expression can change immediately! ! ! People who don't speak German should be mentally prepared to be treated with bad looks and rudeness! The cake is delicious but if you feel uncomfortable it will be a bad memory⋯⋯‼️ It's ridiculous that the owner of this restaurant only responds to good reviews...
