The best place for climbers in the Franconian Jura. Some rocks within walking distance, many things can be reached quickly by bike or car.Hikers and cyclists also get their money's worth in the area.Super nice hosts. The best cake in the Franconian Jura, famous among climbers all over Europe. =) And super fair prices too. For everyone who just gets along well.For all pescatarians: you can order fresh trout from the farm right next door from landlady Martha for the next day. Grew up in the best Trubach water.

Great spirit for climbers. We stayed one night only in Tent, all necessary ist here (water, shower, toulets, parking, and many climbers). Brekfast also possible to order. Nice and warm owner

A great place to relax, far away from everyday stress and in the middle of the Franconian region. The hostess can't be beaten in terms of warmth, the place is clean and the price is unbeatable. The guests, 95% of whom are climbers and nature lovers, ensure a relaxed and incredibly pleasant atmosphere. I'd love to come back

Very good camping, with very kind and sweet owner, tasty cakes and lovely location. Internet is mostly good, but when there are a lot of people it can be very slow. No mobile connection coverage.

Primitive space for simple requirements. Simple tent meadow with poor sanitary facilities (2 showers, 2 toilets each). No paper in the toilets, can be purchased for 50 cents in the shop - if it is currently open. The warm shower also costs 50 cents for supposedly three minutes - but the time for soaping up with the water turned off easily counts. You can't really expect more for 9 euros per night per person. But: If you're happy to spend a euro or two more for a little more (contemporary) comfort, you're better off moving on.

The perfect camping for those looking to chill and climb, the atmosphere is just authentic. And Marta (Oma Eichler) is such a lovely person. They offer handmade cake and coffe (and cold beer) perfect to wrap up a day in the woods. …

Super nice operators who are always available to help and advise. Here you feel warmly welcomed and almost like you are at home. Delicious cake baked with love. Simply fantastic here. Some climbing destinations within walking distance, many others accessible by car.There could be a few more toilets and showers, but it's perfectly fine in the low season.

Simple camping, especially for tents. Many options to sit dry. The campsite is currently, May 2024, diligently looking for an employee for all services. The current manager is friendliness itself, but unfortunately she is not getting any younger.

Great camping spot with the sweetest host and best cake. Fresh bread is great every day! It was really enjoyable here for the walker/climber. Highly recommended!

Perfect location for climbing. The people are very nice. One night €9 with tent or car. Toilets, showers and washing up facilities are available. BUT: Only 2 toilets and two showers (for male people) per approx. 150 canpers is simply far too little. You often have to wait in line for 10-20 minutes to go to the toilet or take a shower.

Nice campsite for simple camping work. A very nice base for climbers here in the region.By far the most people I have seen here are climbers.The campsite is run by a nice grandmother. So things are neatly in order. It is all simple in design, but everything is there and everything is clean. For what I look for in these kinds of places, a big 5 stars.

Warm host in a place to feel good. Nice and consistently friendly atmosphere throughout the place. Simple but more than adequate facilities (enough seating, refrigerator, warm lounge, various climbing guides, small shop with the most necessary items). Everything has been thought of and at very fair prices. The homemade cakes are excellent! Will definitely come back here.
